Players Debate Whether Resident Evil 5 Remake Is Coming Next

Resident Evil is one of the key pillar franchises for Capcom. This series has spanned across several console generations at this point. We’ve seen mainline installments continue to come out into the marketplace alongside spinoffs. However, as of late, we’ve started to see Capcom embrace the older games. A few remakes have managed to make their way out into the marketplace for modern platforms. The question some fans have now is if we’ll see this trend continue and if a remake for Resident Evil 5 is in the works.

Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways Review (PS5) | Push Square

This year's Resident Evil 4 is one of the greatest remakes of all time, but purists — or at least those who had already played the PS2 version — will tell you it was still missing something. When the Nintendo GameCube original was ported to Sony's second home system, it came bundled with new campaigns all about side character Ada Wong. Separate Ways was the most important of the bunch, and six months after the PS5, PS4 remake's release, it's back as DLC for Capcom's newest masterpiece. 18 years later, it has the same effect: Separate Ways meaningfully expands the Resident Evil 4 story and provides a tantalising reason to return to one of the best games ever.

The Separate Ways DLC for the Resident Evil 4 remake is out and is yet another home run for Capcom. It expands on the original concept by further fleshing out Ada and Luis’s roles in the base game. It also properly reintroduces Albert Wesker into the series as Ada’s client.

Resident Evil Village coming on iPhone 15 Pro models! Check price, release date and more

Apple launched the highly anticipated iPhone 15 series at its Wonderlust event on September 12. The Cupertino-based tech giant unveiled four models in total - iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Like the previous year, the iPhone 15 Pro models got a new A17 Pro SoC under the hood, with Apple dropping the ‘Bionic' moniker from the new chipsets. Surprisingly, a significant portion of the launch event went into describing the gaming capabilities of the iPhone 15 Pro models, with Apple announcing that several console games would be coming to iPhones.

Resident Evil 4's Separate Ways DLC Brings Back Original's Iconic Laser Corridor

Back when Resident Evil 4 Remake launched, many of use were quick to dive in and see exactly what Capcom had changed compared to the original. Some were slightly bummed out that Capcom decided to remove a lot of the goofier elements, including all of the quick time events, the chase scene with Salazar's big concrete robot, and the infamous laser corridor scene which had Leon doing backflips and other acrobatics to avoid being sliced up.
