We're one week out from the release of Remnant 2 and friends, the game is a bonafide hit. It's sold over a million copies across PC and console, causing much rejoicing from dev and publisher alike, and prompting the latter to assemble a trailer showcasing all the lovely things people are saying about it.

The biggest secret in Remnant 2 has been solved. Through dozens of hours of work by the community, the final Archetype is unlocked. And solving this puzzle yourself is a doozy. Strap yourselves in, because this is one of the most ridiculous Easter egg quests we’ve ever seen. To unlock the mysterious red door in the Labyrinth, you’ll need to go hunting for gear. You need to fill every inventory slot with a specific item, and some of this gear is insanely well hidden. You’ll have to wait 12 hours just to find one specific relic. Yikes.

Unlock the Alchemist in Remnant 2 by exploring the creepy streets of the Losomn biome. This bonus class gives you additional potions to buff yourself and others while improving your consumable skills. Getting this hidden archetype involves stumbling into a random event while running around the streets of Losomn, one of the later biomes of the game. Near a sewer grate, an unseen creature can drag your character into the underground and initiate a bonus boss fight. If you can overcome the optional boss, you’ll earn the key item required to unlock the Alchemist.

The Dreamcatcher is one of the most mysterious weapons in Remnant 2, and unlocking it requires multiple steps once you reach the blighted, haunted city of Losomn. The Dreamcatcher is an extremely unique weapon melee weapon that allows you to enter the dreams of certain NPCs. The school holidays have begun which, predictably means that it’s been raining and drizzling up and down the country. Luckily, we have the technology to deal with the rain – we can sit inside playing video games. This week I’ve been playing loads of multiplayer, first in Exoprimal, and second in Remnant II.
