Red Dead Redemption 2 star Roger Clark has told the ‘Florida Joker’ to use the extra publicity the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer has given him, rather than threatening Rockstar with lawsuits.
Lawrence Sullivan, who goes by the name ‘Florida Joker’ online, recently claimed that Rockstar owes him up to $2 million for the alleged use of his likeness in the trailer.
Referring to a brief shot in the trailer of a character bearing something of a resemblance to him, Sullivan said he wanted to “talk” to the Scottish studio over the use of his likeness, later adding: “Florida Joker ain’t having that. Ya’ll took my likeness, you took my life.”
Now Clark, who plays protagonist Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, has taken to TikTok to advise Sullivan not to do anything too hasty.
As spotted on X (formerly Twitter) by GTA fan account@billsyliamgta, Clark’s video opens with a clip of Sullivan saying “GTA, we gotta talk”, followed by Clark saying “no you don’t”.
“You don’t need to talk to them,” he continues. “They’re not going to talk to you. They’ve had people like you trying to sue them for decades, they are lawyered up, man. They know exactly what they can and can’t get away with.
“If I were you, I would use the notoriety that they just threw your way to my advantage. Capitalise on it somehow. You ain’t getting a job in Home Depot with that face.”

Last week Clark said he was “certain” that Rockstar will eventually make Red Dead Redemption 3, but that he may not be involved.
The actor took to X (formerly Twitter) in the wake of the first GTA 6 trailer to respond to fans asking if he thought that the Scottish developer would ever return to the Red Dead Redemption series, following 2018’s Red Dead Redemption 2.
“I’m certain we will see RDR3 one day”, he replied. “When that will be – I have absolutely no idea. Don’t count on Arthur’s involvement either. His story has been told, I feel.”

The Wild West can be a scary place in . Overall, is pretty grounded in reality. However, there are lots of little Easter eggs and secrets that touch on the supernatural. There's nothing akin to 's zombie adventure DLC, but there are UFOs, cannibals, and vampires to be found in .
Having been originally released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and not having received a current generation update, Red Dead Redemption 2 does not support ray tracing, which is a shame, as it would make the game look even more incredible than it already does.
Lawrence Sullivan, better known as «Florida Joker» for his extensive set of facial tattoos, has doubled down, posting a second video that asserts Rockstar owes him financial restitution for allegedly using his likeness in GTA 6.
The saga of Lawrence Sullivan, AKA the «Florida Joker», continues, as the self-appointed supervillain has again upped the ante in his effort to extract money from Rockstar Games for allegedly using his likeness in GTA 6. Dying his hair purple and donning an orange prison jumpsuit, Sullivan is adding to Rockstar's alleged bill, which he's now set at $3 million, issuing a three-day deadline for compliance before his lawyers «go crazy on this case».
Say what you like about Lawrence Sullivan, also known as the Florida Joker, but you have to admire his tenacity. After calling Rockstar out for a character in the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer who bore a resemblance to his own viral mugshot and demanding "a mil or two" in recompense, he's now upped the stakes even more, dying his hair purple and donning a prison jumpsuit in order to highlight the similarity between himself and Rockstar's character and demanding an «extra million dollars» too.
The 'Florida Joker,' who believes Rockstar stole their likeness for GTA 6, has now made themselves resemble the character in question even more.
If I had a 2023 bingo card, I can guarantee that 'the voice actor for Arthur Morgan got in a TikTok feud with the Florida Joker' would not be on it. It feels like a sentence written by putting a bunch of names on a corkboard and throwing darts at it.
Red Dead Redemption 2 actor Roger Clark has suggested that the 'GTA 6 Joker' "use the notoriety" rather than seek money from Rockstar.
Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) finally got its first trailer earlier this month (December 4), and while it arrived to much applause, there was at least one person who didn't look upon it so favorably.
History is everywhere in , but one tragic little detail really hammers it home. Set mostly in 1899, as the Wild West era is beginning to come to an end, tackles the truth and the myth of the American cowboy. It allows players to roam around a well-researched, detailed recreation of the American west, taking in lessons about the period and its influences on the modern day.
The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer parodies several viral clips that have surfed around social media, as is series tradition, but one man now believes that his likeness inspired a certain in-game character and is demanding $1-2 million from Rockstar Games.
