Rapper Post Malone spends $3.2 million on Lord of the Rings card from Magic: The Gathering

Overhype, the studio behind the really rather good Battle Brothers, is beating its swords into plasma rifles for its next game. Called Menace, it's another turn-based «brutal tactical RPG» in the vein of its predecessor, but it's trading in grim low-fantasy for a «grounded sci-fi strategy experience». I think grounded might just be another way of saying grim, judging by the number of people howling and turning into clouds of vapour in the trailer.

Bethesda's Head of Publishing, Pete Hines, has hit back at World of Warcraft designer Mark Kern after Kern said Starfield's start screen suggests it «either shows hasty shipping deadlines by a passionate team overworked, or a team that didn't care».

We had previously reported on some confusion when it came to Starfield’s review and community codes. Today we have an interesting update on it, that’s all been confirmed.

Before we get into it, let's clarify the moral of this story right up top: When another human being approaches you with a terrible idea, one that is certain to bring them suffering and regret, encourage them. It'll probably be really funny.

The singer was asked about the upcoming game by a fan and his answer has me grinning from ear to ear.

Fans everywhere are getting hyped for Bethesda’s latest release, Starfield, and it’s only a few weeks until it’s finally in players’ hands. One of those eager happens to be the multi-platinum seller artist Post Malone, who after meeting a fan during a recent concert, gave an enthusiastic response to whether they would be playing the upcoming space adventure.

Earlier this month, Magic: The Gathering history was made as the unique The One Ring card from the recent Lord of the Rings: Tales of Midde-Earth crossover set was sold by its owner for a cool $2.6 million, making it the most expensive card in the game's history by an absolute landslide. The card's owner, Brook Trafton, sold it to celebrity figure and beloved Magic enjoyer Post Malone, with a TikTok video showing the transaction between the two in person.

The digital version of Across the Spider-Verse has been controversial, to say the least. Upon release, fans noticed several changes were made to the cut they watched in cinemas – including more details in Gwen’s opening sequence and Miles’ heroic stand against Spider-Man 2099.
