In a surprising post made online, Post Malone teases an Apex Legends cross over event. This is unlike anything we’ve really seen in Apex Legends, but celebrities have done this before with games like Fortnite. In the short video posted online, Post Malone tells all Apex Legends fans to wait for an exciting event.
Arriving on November 7, Apex Legends and Post Malone are commencing some sort of cross over event. This will be an in-game event that could mean a variety of things. In the video posted on Twitter/X, Post Malone is splayed across the ground, shouting for someone to ‘rez’ him, and it soon cuts to an image implying this cross over event happening November 7.

That’s really all the information we know for now about this event. Apex Legends isn’t known for doing an event like this, so it’ll be interesting to see what it entails. In games like Fortnite, some artists will perform at virtual concerts, but would Apex Legends do the same?
Both of those games are Battle Royales, so it’s a likely guess. We also know that it’ll run for two weeks, as Post Malone’s post on Twitter/X said “Get ready for two weeks of beautiful mayhem”. This sounds like a fun and exciting LTM (limited time mode).
Currently, Apex Legends is just about to launch the Doppelganger Collection Event, which will showcase the Tricks N’ Treats Trios LTM in celebration of Halloween. Once this event ends on October 31, perhaps we’ll get further details on what this cross over event entails. Since Post Malone said two weeks, we should expect this mode to be around from November 7 to 21.
It’s interesting to wonder what a virtual concert would look like in Apex Legends, if that’s even what this event is about. We’ll just have to wait and see for more information.

Getting an email asking if I want a copy of “the Apex Legends cookbook” was one of the most WTF moments of my year thus far, but once I knew it existed, I had to have it. Before I left for GamesBeat Next, I was perusing and casually testing some of the recipes in the book, and let me tell you: The Apex Legends cookbook is a goldmine of comedy, if not of particularly inventive recipes. Some of the food feels artificially tied to specific characters — Octane has a couple of recipes in the book (both good, too), and I’ll remind you the character is canonically a thrill-seeking drug addict. I want nothing to do with whatever he puts in his body.
