Pokémon Concierge is my Chicken Soup for the Soul

Some Pokemon GO players have recently taken to social media to call for a new type of Incense that would facilitate playing the game during winter months, in weather that's all but suitable for walking. Their idea adds to the list of gameplay changes that Pokemon GO players have proposed since the turn of the year.

A week ago, I told you about how MIS was the next tech firm to be gunning for Steam Deck’s title in the portable PC market, with a device called The Claw. Well, it seems the company is thinking long, long term, with some newer versions of this yet-to-be-released system on the horizon.

While the lore revealed in does seem to clash with the established timeline, there is an intriguing possibility that the Zonai may not have founded the original Hyrule as the game suggests. Instead, there is a suggestion that the Hyrule ruled over by Rauru and Sonia may actually be a successor to another, even older kingdom. If true, this has the potential to explain some of ’s more puzzling details and has enormous implications for the entire series.

Currently, there are nine Generations in the series, spanning from the Japanese releases of in 1996 to in 2022. These generations create a timeline that is seemingly broken down into sections based on when each new region was released. However, the timeline is actually based more on which year each game was released, regardless of the region the game takes place in, and this can be confusing from an initial standpoint. A way to help break down where each game falls on the timeline, including each of the remakes, is to look at the year the game came out.

Psyduck is the scene-stealing pal of Pokémon Concierge, a new stop-motion animated Pokémon series from Netflix and dwarf studios. Like any good Pokémon show, this series contains plenty of cute little guys to go gaga over, but Psyduck stands out from the crowd. Pokémon Concierge is pure Psyduck propaganda, and I’m here for it.

Pokemon Concierge was released on Netflix earlier this week, and the reception to the show has been nothing but unbridled praise and joy. Many are loving it for its relaxing vibes and stop-motion aesthetic, and the only criticism that people seem to have is that there isn't enough of it.

It’s been advertised for a while that a Netflix series called Pokemon Concierge will debut in December. It’s only four episodes long, but it offers a unique slice-of-life perspective of the franchise which may be enough to rekindle the flame of passion for the franchise in even the most disillusioned fans.

Most TV shows set in the world of Pokémon focus on trainers and their magical pets ripping and running from one region to another in pursuit of becoming legendary battling teams. But fighting for glory is the last thing on anyone’s mind in Pokémon Concierge— Netflix’s new stop-motion animated series from Dwarf Animation Studio and director Ogawa Iku.

Everyone who’s ever wished Pokémon were real will get a kick out of Netflix’s Pokémon Concierge, where the lovable pocket monsters are rendered in the softest sweetest stop-motion style. From dwarf studios — known for the adorable Rilakkuma and Kaoru — the anime follows Haru, an anxious young woman who takes a job as a resort’s newest concierge. She’s in charge of making sure the Pokémon are having a good time.
