Pokemon Concierge was released on Netflix earlier this week, and the reception to the show has been nothing but unbridled praise and joy. Many are loving it for its relaxing vibes and stop-motion aesthetic, and the only criticism that people seem to have is that there isn't enough of it.
Pokemon Concierge isn't like most Netflix shows, in that it's a four-episode one-off series that isn't getting any more seasons and never planned to. It's much more of an experimental show from Netflix and Nintendo, offering a more mature Pokemon story free from the drama of capturing Pokemon and battling them against each other.
It's proven extremely popular though, perhaps more popular than both Netflix and the show's creators expected. Despite only having been released a couple of days ago, fans are calling en masse for more episodes to be made, unsatisfied with the amount of time they got to spend at the Pokemon Hotel with Haru and friends.
Obviously, the makers of Pokemon Concierge couldn't cram over 1,000 Pokemon into a four-episode series, so many want more so they can potentially see their favorite in the show's unique art style. There are also calls for Game Freak to take note of Pokemon Concierge's popularity as well, with fans asking for a cozy game with similar vibes to the show, akin to something like Animal Crossing, but with Pokemon instead.
I just watched Pokemon Concierge and I'm going to need them to make like 50 more seasons. This is about to become my entire personality. - Twitter user Meganroseruiz
It's difficult to imagine Netflix commissioning another series of Pokemon Concierge though, even if fans scream from the rooftops for it. It's been made very clear that the show is a one-time thing, and stop-motion is one of the most time-consuming and expensive forms of animation out there at the moment.
It's not something that can be made on a whim, and we'd probably only get a few more episodes at the very most if Netflix ever does greenlight another season. It's unlikely we'd ever get a ten-episode season of something so tricky to make, but tht hasn't stopped fans of the show from putting their hopes out there.
For now, we'll have to look forward to the future of Pokemon games, which is actually looking pretty bare at the moment. With the recent release of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC, we actually don't know what the future of the Pokemon series has in store for fans. Sure, there are plenty of rumors regarding remakes and such, but we won't have any confirmed news for a few months at least. Fingers crossed for a Pokemon Concierge spinoff.

Over the last decade or so, the entertainment industry has seen many rises and falls across all brands. These changes have affected music, TV, movies, and even video games. Things “for sure never going to fail” started to fail. Then, things that “could never work” have done well and made many wonder if things could go further down that path. One such path is that of the “game subscription service,” which was punctuated by the Xbox Game Pass, which has done wonders for Microsoft. However, Larian Studios isn’t on board with this notion, nor with notions of such services made by fellow game developers.
Xbox has confirmed that it has no plans to shadow drop any of the games set to be shown off at its upcoming Developer Direct. Valentine's Day is less than a month away, so if you need to buy someone a gift and you don't already know what to get, now is the time to start thinking about it. Something cliche like chocolates isn't the worst idea in the world because, well, Valentine's Day is all about cliches. Go one better than buying the first box of chocolates you see at the store this year though and make your own chocolates for the one you love. Oh, and make them Clodsire-shaped.
