The excitement is soaring as Adult Swim is gearing up for the return of “Rick and Morty”. But that’s just the beginning. Developers are hard at work, preparing an array of mind-blowing features and fresh content for the year ahead. Pocket Sized Hands, celebrating three years of support for Pocket Mortys, has been working behind the scenes to introduce over 100 new characters to the game and new experiences for players. These include the ability to discover rare and Shiny Mortys in the wild, as well as the new “S#!+ Shop.”
In Pocket Mortys, you play as Rick Sanchez, the elderly genius known for his eccentric behavior. In the middle of one of your rants in the garage, a mysterious version of yourself emerges from a portal. This enigmatic counterpart traps you in a dimension unlike any you’ve encountered before, revealing that collecting and battling Mortys has become the latest craze across the multiverse. Subsequently, you find yourself entangled in a series of events and the Council of Ricks seizes control of your beloved portal gun. Now, you’re on a quest to defeat Ricks from various dimensions in a bid to reclaim your portal gun.
Pocket Sized Hands boasts nearly seven years of experience in supporting and developing games. Their achievements include providing development support for Oddworld Soulstorm, transitioning Clive N Wrench from PC to Nintendo Switch, and collaborating with the iconic Peaky Blinders IP. The studio’s growth continues, with plans to expand their creative talent pool by opening several positions in programming and design.

Weekly content updates in Pocket Mortys will drop alongside each episode release. But that’s not all; Pocket Sized Hands has more exciting features and content in store, all of which will be unveiled in the coming year.

Larian have released a new Baldur's Gate 3 update, Patch 4, which applies 1000 fixes and changes to the indecently expansive fantasy RPG - far too many to list on Steam. The most significant additions are accessibility settings for colour-blind people, the ability to visually customise hirelings upon recruitment, and the ability to clean up party members using sponges and soap, rather than lobbing bottles of water at them. No more rocking up to cutscenes looking like Sweeney Todd on his lunchbreak! Well, unless that's your vibe.
