PLAYISM Game Show set for September 10

It wasn’t too long ago that we reported on the official announcement of the upcoming gacha game, Atelier Resleriana. Well, the launch date has now been revealed – and it’s sooner than you think.

Following the release of the first game this past May, Ratalaika and Shinyuden are re-releasing the 1992 Turbografx game Kaizō Chōjin Shubibinman 2 as Cyber Citizen Shockman 2: A New Menace. This new release is out on September 22.

Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator will launch for iOS via App Store and Android via Google Play on September 23 in Japan, publishers Koei Tecmo and Akatsuki Games, and developer Gust announced. The PC (Steam) version will follow at a later date.

Square Enix will host a PlayStation 5 open beta test for FOAMSTARS from September 29 at 6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET to October 1 at 11:59 p.m. PT / October 2 at 2:59 a.m. ET, the company announced.

SEGA has announced an RGG Like a Dragon Direct for September 19, which will share news about two upcoming games. 

Nintendo will host a Nintendo Direct on September 14 at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET, featuring 40 minutes of information focused mainly on Switch titles launching this winter, the company announced. You will be able to watch it on YouTube (America, Europe, Japan) and Nintendo.com (America, Europe, Japan).

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio confirmed in June that it would be revealing more new details on upcoming Like a Dragon titles in another new RGG Summit stream this Fall, and the developer has now officially revealed exactly when it will happen.

The recently announced G-MODE Archives+ release of RPG Megami Ibunroku Persona: Ikuu no Tou Hen will launch for Switch via Nintendo eShop on September 14 in Japan, G-MODE announced. Details on the PC (Steam) release will be announced at a later date.

Tokyo Game Show is set to kick off later this month on September 21, and over the course of several days, the event will see several major companies talking about some of their biggest upcoming releases. Microsoft was confirmed to be in that list some time back, and now, the company has offered more details on what its plans for the event will entail.

An unknown company has launched a teaser website for a new title to be announced on September 14 at 7:00 p.m. PT / 10:00 p.m. ET / September 15 at 11:00 JST. The URL to the website is “xxscapegoatxx.com.”

Microsoft will host the Xbox Digital Broadcast at Tokyo Game Show 2023 on September 21 at 2:00 a.m. PT / 5:00 a.m. ET / 18:00 JST, the company announced.
