Phantom Blade: Executioners Ignition Finally Gets A Release Date!

Three years after debuting for PC on the Epic Games Store, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, a remastered bundle of the first two games in the long-running Tony Hawk series, finally made its way to Steam earlier this month. By and large it's been well received, but there's one persistent complaint: A lot of players would really like to see the always-online requirement dropped. Yesterday it finally happened, thanks to the 1.1 patch for Steam, but only partially—very oddly, the offline mode is only available on Steam Deck.

It’s a funny thing when you follow an indie game from its initial announcement to its release. I’d say it’s an equally funny thing when you live in ignorance throughout an indie game’s development, only finding out about it when a release trailer is posted. Diablo 4 caught my eye as soon as it dropped and ended up being my first-ever delve into Blizzard’s long-standing RPG series. While I’m glad I took the plunge and discovered the wickedly whimsical world offered by Sanctuary, I was always a bit disappointed with its exclusive appearance on Blizzard’s own storefront. Blizzard Entertainment's upcoming Warcraft-themed strategy game Warcraft Rumble will be released on iOS and Android on November 3.Warcraft Rumble is a free-to-play mobile strategy game that blends tower defense, RTS, and autobattler elements. The game features a long-form single-player campaign that will take players across the world of Azeroth, as well as opportunities for co-op missions, PvP, guilds, raids, and dungeons. Rumble has also received a preview video, where senior 3D artist Justine Hamer, game producer Elhora Davis, and art director Jeremy Collins talked through their vision for the title in what proved to be a charming seven-minute presentation.     

The Forger family is back for more espionage action in season 2 of Spy x Family, which finally has a release date for Crunchyroll. The anime streaming site announced on Thursday that Spy x Family season 2 will start airing on Oct. 7.

Free-to-play side-scrolling action RPG Phantom Blade: Executioners will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC via Epic Games Store, iOS, and Android on November 2, developer S-GAME announced.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has become a phenomenon since it launched last month, being heralded for its unique cast of characters, in-depth battle system and clever writing. Yet, even as one of the most highly-rated video games of all time, the D&D RPG hasn’t been able to shake off a slew of issues, from CPU slowdown to frame rate drops, which occur the longer you progress into the game. While developer Larian Studios has been consistent with its fixes and updates, the third act is still riddled with issues, but this Baldur’s Gate 3 DLSS 3 mod may be exactly what Baldur’s Gate 3 needs.
