Persona 3 Reload has announced an expansion pass with three waves of DLC that culminate in a content-rich epilogue titled Episode Aigis — The Answer. The three waves of DLC for Persona 3 Reload will be spread over the next six months, offering fans returning music tracks from previous games such as Persona 5 Royal and Persona 4 Golden, new costumes, and, of course, additional story content.
While Persona 3 Reload reviews have been virtually glowing across the board, fans have noted the omission of content from previous iterations of Persona 3. Episode Aigis, in particular, returns some of that missing content, remaking Persona 3 FES' epilogue, The Answer.
Persona 3Reload's newly announced expansion pass will be released in three waves: Wave One arriving soon on March 12, Wave Two launching sometime in May, and Wave Three slated for release in September. The first wave of content offers fans music tracks from Persona 5 Royal and Persona 4 Golden, while the second wave adds even more tracks and costumes. Wave Three looks to be the most substantial, containing a full-fledged epilogue complete with a new story and dungeon. Fans will want to complete Persona 3 Reload's more than 50-hour campaign before diving into Episode Aigis, but players have some time before the third wave finally arrives.
Much like the game itself, which launched day one on the platform, the Persona 3 Reload expansion pass will be free for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Gamers on other platforms or those not subscribed can purchase the expansion pass for $34.99 USD.
Given all the differences between the various versions of Persona 3, developer P-Studio and Atlus would be hard-pressed to include every bit of content in Reload. That said, bringing back the final chapter from FES is a welcome inclusion. The original iteration of The Answer adds around 30 hours of content to the already lengthy base game.
