Palworld sales hit 4m and boasts the fifth highest concurrent Steam players ever

One Baldur's Gate 3 player has answered the question we've all had since the RPG's breakout launch: yes, you can beat the game as a squad of four very cute cats. Just don't expect to do it without busting the game using strats straight out of the speedrunning scene.

Developer Rocksteady Studios has taken its new live-service multiplayer shooter set in the Batman: Arkham universe, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice Leauge, offline after Early Access players hit a «story completion» bug. While the standard edition of the game doesn't hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC until this Friday, February 2, players who purchase the more expensive Deluxe Edition, which costs $99.99 compared to the Standard Edition's $69.99 price tag, can jump in three days early. 

Even though is an expansive, fun game, it's still in Early Access, and as with any EA game, it comes with its own glitches and bugs. Luckily, most of the bugs in the game aren't too game-breaking, with some, like the Pal Sphere glitch, feeling more like an awesome feature rather than something that needs to be patched. That said, the developers of the game, Pocketpair, are hard at work patching and updating both the Xbox and PC versions of the games, and some of these glitches may not even exist within a few days.

Palworld may have just come out recently, but its popularity is growing daily as the open-world survival game's US daily players briefly surpassed Fortnite on Xbox.

While the open-world survival game does share some similar characteristics to, it was quickly discovered to be much more than that. The addictive little title is now a hot topic in the gaming community despite still being limited to the Xbox for console players.

Pocket Pair's megahit survival title Palworld has overtaken Counter-Strike 2 as the game on Steam with the second-most concurrent players of all time. Palworld quickly became one of the most successful Steam games ever upon its release, and the hype isn't going anywhere as it continues to smash record upon record.

Game developers aren't buying that several Pokemon and Palworld creatures look alike by mere coincidence.
