A Palworld player witnessed a bizarre bug with several Mammorests spawning together after setting the game’s Pal spawn rate to 10 times the usual number. Palworld allows players to highly customize the worlds they play in, but some of these options may not be working perfectly right now, as discovered by this gamer.
Palworld was released in early access last month. As expected in this kind of release, though, the game was initially filled with many bugs, which have since been fixed by the developer Pocket Pair with periodic updates. Some of the worst issues included Palworld crashing constantly on Xbox, Pals not obeying commands, and holes created by missing textures on the floor. Not all glitches were terrible, though, and some of them were actually quite hilarious.
Now, a Palworld player called Twinfails pushed their luck and discovered a new, weird glitch. Before starting a game, Palworld players can choose between different difficulties, including Custom, which allows gamers to customize several aspects of the experience. By picking this option, Twinfails decided to set the game’s Pal spawn rate to 10 times higher than the usual number. While Palworld advises gamers that increasing the Pal spawn rate can bring performance issues, it still allows them to do it. The result was that Twinfails barely opened the game after editing the world and already saw around ten or so Mammorests in a very uncanny, glitched line that looked like a bizarre centipede.
This is far from the only hilarious glitch that can be found in Palworld, though. For instance, a Palworld player discovered a giant translucid Arsox a few weeks ago. In a video shared by the gamer, it was possible to see them flying a Nitewing around the glitched Arsox, which was as huge as a mountain and became translucid when the player flew near it. Unfortunately, there was no explanation of how this crazy glitch happened.
While Palworld is undeniably glitched and incomplete, it’s also very fun, and that’s why the survival game has been so successful. Not only did the title sell 15 million units on Steam, but it’s also available on Xbox Game Pass, and reached 10 million players on Xbox, according to its creators, which makes Palworld one of the biggest hits of 2024. Hopefully, this high player count will encourage developer Pocket Pair to improve the experience over time and iron out the bugs and performance issues that still plague the game.
Pocket Pair's Palworld is a creature-collection game set in an open-world. Entering early access on January 19, 2024, the project blends survival, building, farming, monster breeding, and shooter elements.

A Palworld player spends a reasonable amount of resources on building a tower that reaches the highest spot in the world. As in other survival games, farming is the most important factor in base-building in Palworld. While navigating through the game's open world, players will see various natural resources, such as wood and stone, which are essential for building bases and tools. Farming these resources can be time-consuming; however, players must do it to craft nearly everything they need to survive.
A Palworld player accidentally missed out on a huge amount of Coins within the game due to a change in the selling price of nails. The massively popular new monster-catching game from developer Pocket Pair offers players a variety of things to do within its sandbox open-world environment. Players can capture Pals to battle or use in their base, build sprawling bases to generate more resources and craft items, and challenge the many bosses found throughout the game's world. Now, one player's unfortunate hiatus ended up losing them a significant number of Coins.
A Palworld player tried to lure a Jetragon to capture it, but the strategy had a disastrous result, and the Pal killed itself. Palworld has more than 100 creatures to catch, assign tasks, and battle. A Palworld player has recently created a Lamball with overpowered stats due to a precise combination of breeding, Pal condensing, and enhancements from Statues of Power. Lamball is a pretty basic creature in Palworld, so it’s rare to see a gamer make such an effort to breed an overpowered version of one, but the result is still a surprisingly strong Pal.

After the recent Palworld patch was released, some gamers have complained that negative traits are being forced on newly bred Pals, causing the developers to promise a fix for this issue soon. Breeding was used as an efficient tool to eliminate negative traits while cultivating good ones, and this change frustrated many Palworld fans who believe that breeding is potentially worse now.
