A Palworld player has recently discovered a weird glitch in which their Beegarde became stuck in a glowing form after failing to blow up. Palworld has been hugely popular since its launch, reaching over 25 million players in a few weeks, but it’s still in early access, offering a fairly bugged experience.
Ever since its release, Palworld has been filled with bugs of varying intensity. Some of them were pretty concerning, such as disappearing ground textures that became pits, the AI of Pals not working well, and Palworld crashing on Xbox. However, the game also has its share of hilarious glitches.
Now, a Palworld player called UnfamiliarTroll found a pretty amusing glitch. UnfamiliarTroll was using their Beegarde, a Pal with a self-explosion ability, and the creature was about to blow up during a raid, but it stopped in the middle of the process, becoming a “giant torch” instead. Since then, they have been carrying around their glowing bee-like Pal. While UnfamiliarTroll did not share if they solved the problem, another player in the comments of the Reddit post claimed that they faced the same issue and fixed it by putting the Beegarde in the Palbox.
This is just the latest of many hilarious bugs that gamers are still finding in Palworld. A few days ago, a Palworld player caused a huge area to be on fire. The gamer was using a Faleris to fight other Pals on an undisclosed island, and something went very wrong, as their Pal ended up scorching the whole region, and killing or at least greatly injuring essentially all enemies in the area.
Other recent glitches may not be so visually stunning, but they are still pretty fun. For example, a Palworld player recently made their Anubis float by putting it in a hot spring. It was a hilarious scene, in which the Pal floated for a few seconds, then woke up and fell slowly to the floor.
Despite how amusing some of these glitches are, PocketPair is still working hard to address the most nasty ones. A few days ago, for example, Palworld received a new update for Xbox, which is still behind the PC version of the game in several ways. With the new update v.0.1.5.2, some important fixes have been implemented, such as getting rid of a bug that would prevent the game from being saved properly if the save file was too big, and a multiplayer-related issue that caused Palworld to crash sometimes.
Pocket Pair's Palworld is a creature-collection game set in an open-world. Entering early access on January 19, 2024, the project blends survival, building, farming, monster breeding, and shooter elements.
