Palworld Nintendo DS Demake Looks Like Something You Would be Playing in 2006

Though Nintendo is known for mobile consoles — Game Boy, DS, Nintendo Switch — it’s never really been known as a mobile game developer, i.e., a studio making games for your phone. But that’s not to say that Nintendo hasn’t done so. In fact, you can count the number of Nintendo mobile games on two hands. Since 2016, Nintendo has released eight games that qualify, a strategy that’s tied to the failure of the Wii U.

Is that Ellie from The Last of Us we see in this trailer for mobile zombie shooter Doomsday: Last Survivors? No, on closer inspection, this is a character called Peggy – who’s basically Ellie. In fact, pretty much all of the game’s characters look agonisingly similar to someone more popular; Cynthia Calamity is effectively Jill Valentine from Resident Evil and Catherine Calamity looks a lot like Juliet Starling from Lollipop Chainsaw.

It’s been a while since our last new Star Wars show. But the long drought since Ahsokais finally coming to an end as Disney debuted the first trailer for The Acolyte on Tuesday.
