There has been a long wait for Horizon fans to get the second installment for PC. PlayStation users have already had the chance to go through the latest adventure with Aloy. However, on PC, fans have been waiting, and fortunately, that wait is ending. Announced through the PlayStation Blog, it’s been confirmed that Horizon Forbidden West will arrive for PC on March 21, 2024. With it, we’ll get this game’s complete edition and some additional bonus content for those opting to pre-purchase it. Here’s what we know so far. 

Sony will add a new feature to PS5 later this year, allowing users to invite others to a multiplayer game by generating a shareable link on the console or via the PlayStation App. This link can then be shared on social media or via direct message, allowing AFK, offline, or even players you aren't friends with (yet) to secure a spot.

Dave the Diver team Mintrocket has today announced the PS5 and PS4 versions of its 2023 indie hit will release on 16th April 2024, and they'll be available straight away via PS Plus Extra also. Current members of Sony's subscription service will be able to download and play the game without charge, granting them access to the original experience and a bit of Godzilla-themed DLC in May.

Helldivers 2’s surprisingly huge launch has already seen millions of players across PlayStation 5 and PC dip into its co-op focused third-person action. It’s a smash hit and easily publisher Sony’s biggest ever PC game launch. But while Helldivers 2 is certainly a game everybody should play, it can often be a brutal, unforgiving experience, with floods of hard-to-kill alien robots and bugs descending upon players in increasingly tough waves.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is finally adding its long-awaited New Game Plus mode soon, along with additional costumes and accessibility features. Insomniac finally released Spider-Man 2 on the PlayStation 5 last October to much critical and commercial success, with the game quickly becoming one of the developer's highest-selling titles of all time. As both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, players are tasked with defending New York City from a multitude of classic comic book villains, including Kraven the Hunter and a reimagined version of Venom.

So yeah, it’s not something you have to “deal with” every day.

2023 is nearly over, meaning the time for “year-end awards” is almost finished. We’ve seen plenty of awards given out so far via “major ceremonies” and websites doing their own giveaways. But a certain group of fans feel rather left out. Specifically, fans of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 feel the game should be getting more attention and “award love” than it has over the last three weeks. At The Game Awards, the title was nominated for several categories but didn’t win a single one, which left many fans angry. However, on the PlayStation Blog, the fans made their voices heard, and the game did MUCH better.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League recently received an extensive new gameplay look, with Rocksteady discussing the story and showcasing the combat, including mechanics like Juggle Kill and Counter Shot. The Standard and Deluxe Editions are also available to pre-order, with PS5 players getting a special Rogue Outfits bundle. However, that’s not all they benefit from.

In a new PlayStation Blog, the developer has outlined all the features in Photo Mode for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Developer Larian Studios has revealed interesting new player stats for Baldur’s Gate 3, this time around surrounding the player base’s choice of multi-classing combinations. Taking to the PlayStation Blog, product manager Emily Gera has decided to further inspire the player base by offering the studio’s own suggestions for potentially powerful multi-classing combinations.

Tales of Arise, one of the very best JRPGs of 2021, is getting DLC set after the main game. 

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth won't let you import your save files from Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Square Enix’sFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth is one of the more talked-about parts from the recent State of Play, thanks in no small part to the release date announcement and new gameplay. Speaking to PlayStation Blog, creative director Tetsuya Nomura went into more detail on the trailer and its purpose.

Whether it’s the new party members or mini-games, Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has much going on. Its world is pretty big, with Cloud and friends searching for Sephiroth. In a new interview with PlayStation Blog, director Naoki Hamaguchi said the team emphasized “exploration-focused game design” and wanted to “create that feeling of going on a journey while traveling around the world in pursuit of evidence of Sephiroth’s movements.”

Final Fantasy 7 bad boy Sephiroth will be fully playable in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will end after "the greatest fate" takes place at the Forgotten Capital, which is, of course, referencing where Aerith dies in the original game.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is set to launch on February 29, 2024, for PlayStation 5.

The developers of Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth have revealed the point at which the game ends, which is where the most iconic moment in the series happens. There are some concerns regarding this proposed endpoint, as there is still a lot of game left to cover, yet there are only supposed to be three games in the Remake series, so a lot is being thrust onto the third and final game.
