There are a lot of factors to consider when designing your perfect build in Helldivers 2. I don’t need to explain the importance of things like choosing the best weapon, but other parts of your loadout play just as big a role when your boots hit the ground.

Once you get beyond the early and mid-game crafting options in Enshrouded, the types of materials you will need will only get more difficult to get your hands on. One particularly useful item you will want to craft often is leather, which you will need something called Ammonia Glands to create. Considering leather is necessary for upgrading your inventory space to the highest level, everyone will want to get their hands on it.

Helldivers 2 has already become a huge success, with tons of soldiers ready to spread democracy across Super Earth. While you’re exploring, catching new Pals, and collecting resources in Palworld, you will eventually stumble upon some high-tier treasure chests. While this may give you an initial surge of excitement, if you find yourself lacking any keys with which to open it, your mood may deflate rather quickly. Keys come in three distinct types, with Copper and Silver being a bit easier to get than the Gold ones, but they are still no walk in the park. The Terminids are back in Helldivers 2, and only you and your friends can save Super Earth by working together. This sequel shifts the perspective of the first game from a top-down angle to a more traditional third-person one, but retains the chaotic formula of swarms of enemies and the ever-present threat of friendly fire.

You have a decent selection of modes to pick from in Foamstars on any given day. You can play solo or as a team with friends in the mission modes, or fight it out with foam in the versus matches. Once you run through all the playable characters, you might start to get a little comfortable with the match types available.

Is it a pirate’s life for you? If so, it won’t be a very long life in Skull and Bones if you don’t have a loyal crew at your back. Setting sail on the dangerous waters of this online game leaves you open to all sorts of peril that a team may otherwise avoid. While you are always in a server with up to 20 other players, you never know who those players will be, which is where forming a group comes in handy. Thanks to Skull and Bones being a crossplay game, the only limiting factor to playing with some pals is knowing how to do it, which is where we come in.

If you want to get a taste of the pirate life awaiting in Skull and Bones before investing any of your own loot on purchasing the game, you will no doubt be interested in its open beta. The major focus of Foamstars is on its characters and their abilities. Once you find one you like, it isn’t obvious that there’s a bit more you can do to tweak them outside of unlocking new cosmetics. Bubble Gems are hard to come by, but offer passive bonuses to whichever character you equip them to. However, you don’t get them for free, and each character can only hold three at a time. A series like Far Cry is rather unique within the industry. There are very few other FPS franchises that completely swap out characters and settings between every major installment, but all still feel like a cohesive whole. There’s a new multiplayer game in Town: Foamstars. Square Enix’s latest is a riff on Splatoon that trades in ink for suds. I went into it expecting a quirky little arena shooter that would give me a weekend or two of fun before running out of steam as its live-service model began to rear its head. What I wasn’t expecting was a mountain of legibility problems that made it hard for me to tell what I was doing.

What is a pirate without their crew? Skull and Bones aims to let you live out all your pirate fantasies, including captaining your own ship, digging up treasure, and engaging in naval battles. While all that is fun on its own, this is an online experience, and filling your crew with friends can make your adventures all the more enjoyable.

Loading into Foamstars, you probably know what to expect in terms of progression. Being a multiplayer-only game, you can count on live-service elements being in play; however, every game handles them differently. Yes, we do have both a free and paid battle pass here with tons of cosmetics, but what about more impactful things like characters? At launch, your roster will only have eight options, but two are locked: Mel T and The Baristador. Considering how each character plays differently, getting the entire range of options will help you decide which one you want to focus on. These two have different requirements to unlock, and one of them may not be to your liking.

Even in an early access state, Palworld boasts a massive world map you can explore either solo or with a group of friends. While there are tons of sights to see and Pals to capture and put to work at your base, a major portion of your time will be spent on gathering crafting materials. Unlike Paldium, which can be found all over, other resources like coal can’t be found in any region of the map. If you were thinking you might be able to cheat the system a bit and simply buy some, guess again, because no vendor has any of these black lumps in stock, even the Black Marketeers. If you’re desperate for some coal, we can point you in the right direction.

Just buying new, better weapons will get you through most of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, but if you want to cut down on grinding or take on the endgame challenges, there’s no getting around the need to upgrade and craft better gear. All those materials you’ve been scooping up off the ground and collecting from fights will get you most of the way there, but the top-tier weapons in the game will need a little bit more. Things like Squid Tentacles, for whatever reason, are one of the more rare ingredients that are somehow necessary to make these powerful weapons. There are only a few ways you can snag these slippery limbs, so rather than ruin your vacation in Hawaii by stressing, we’ll show you how to get Squid Tentacles as painlessly as possible.

Ichiban doesn’t have a lot of time to relax while abroad in Hawaii during Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. His quest will have him and his friends facing off against a new set of threats that are more dangerous than anything that came before. While you can grind for levels to try and keep up, the best way to make sure everyone on your team is dishing out as much pain as possible is to craft and upgrade better weapons. Early on, you can improve your base gear with basic ores you find littered on the streets, but once you start getting to the high-level stuff, you will need some rare (and weird) materials. Rainbow Geodes in particular can be hard to come by, but we’ve found a rich deposit for you to mine.

A good deal of RPG protagonists tend to be on the dark and broody side, if they’re not altogether silent. That’s usually justified — they tend to go through circumstances that uproot their lives at best and, at worst, irrevocably ruin them. It would only be natural for that to have an impact on their overall demeanor.

Ichiban may be in a tropical paradise in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, but there’s more need than ever for his trusty bat. Trouble is waiting around every corner, and only the strongest weapons will get you through the toughest encounters and bosses that Hawaii has in store. There are some great weapons you can buy for all the different party members and jobs, plus you’ll find plenty as well, but you can’t draw out a weapon’s full potential without upgrading it. Early upgrades only require basic materials, but the best of the best ask you to get items that you won’t find lying around or in any common shops. Ethereal Egesta is one such material that is hidden in a place you likely never would look, and it can also net you a Trophy for finding it. Put on some gloves because we’re about to show you where you can fish out the Ethereal Egesta.

The Palpagos Islands in Palworld are a massive swath of land waiting to be explored. You will spend plenty of time catching a team of Pals in the early going, as well as collecting plenty of materials to build up a base and upgrade your gear, but exploration will always pull you out into the dangerous wilds. While you’re out there, you will eventually happen upon various treasure chests with the promise of some great loot inside. These chests come in different types, with each requiring a unique type of key to be opened. The rarest of these chests need a Gold Key, which is obviously the hardest to find. In fact, you can look high and low and never find one. There’s a trick to getting these special keys, and we’ll share all those juicy details.

Once you get your footing in Palworld, with all its different Peal types, guns, and survival mechanics, you will realize that a good chunk of your attention needs to be placed on making sure you have all the necessary materials. This isn’t a game where you can just grind XP and brute force your way to victory. In Palworld, crafting is king, and that means you need materials. A lot of them, such as Paldium, can eventually be automated at your base with the help of some Pals, but specific things like leather aren’t as easy to stockpile. This is amaterial that only drops from specific Pals, so let’s run through what you need to do to get some Leather in Palworld.

We all know that Palworld is so much more than just “Pokemon with guns.” Even ignoring all the crafting, breeding, and survival aspects, there are way more than just regular guns to unlock and make. You have melee options, spears, bows, handguns, explosives, and more at your disposal. If you want to keep up with the difficulty curve and hunt down the higher-level Pals, and especially the Legendaries, then you need the strongest weapons in your arsenal. Here are all the weapons currently in Palworld and how you can unlock and craft them.

While Palworld does take a lot of cues from its obvious inspiration, Pokemon, it isn’t simply a clone. Apart from catching and battling colorful monsters of various types, this is also a survival game with tons of building and crafting elements. Most of the early items you can craft will need basic materials, but when you start getting to the good stuff, Ancient Civilization Parts will be required more and more. While there are a few ways to get this resource, it isn’t easy to come by and won’t happen naturally for most people. Initially armed with his trusty bat from the first game, Ichiban will eventually need to upgrade and craft stronger weaponry to keep up with the gangs and goons populating Hawaii in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Just like in the previous title, a vendor will appear who is more than willing to improve or create gear in exchange for a bit of money and a handful of materials. At first, you won’t have much trouble keeping pace with the game as long as you pick up whatever shiny objects catch your eye as you traipse down the streets. Despite sounding like something you could snag while strolling on the beach, Beautiful Seashells are rather hard to come by naturally. If these attractive shells are what stands between you and a stronger weapon, here’s where you can get some.

Once the novelty of shooting a cute and friendly-looking Pal with a gun wears off, it is time to get serious in Palworld and start crafting more powerful firepower and technologies. Just like everything else, you will need to farm materials in order to actually make these new toys. Your starting musket is serviceable, but once you make a Weapon Workbench, you will see way better options to make so long as you have High Quality Pal Oil. Before you try and shove your Pal into a crusher like you’re farming Paldium, that’s not how you’re meant to get this material. There are two methods to get your hands on some, so let’s break it all down.

The game may be called Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, but Ichiban will have an empty wallet more often than not during his adventure. Being an ex-yakuza, work isn’t exactly easy for him to come by, and things only get more complicated after he travels overseas to Hawaii. This new location isn’t cheap, especially if you want to pick up some top-tier gear and weapons or just enjoy the more luxurious restaurants. All your Yen will be converted to dollars when you transition, making it easier to see just how poor you are at all times. Street brawls will get you a few bucks, but you’ll need more efficient ways to earn some scratch by the mid to late game. Here are the best ways to farm money in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

There is so much more to do in Palworld beyond catching and battling your Pals. This is also an open-world survival game, filled with crafting and base-building elements. A lot of materials, like Paldium Fragments, are natural resources you can get in the world, while others you need to grow yourself, such as wheat. Wheat, as you would expect, is necessary for making flour to cook things like cake. And cake is required for breeding Pals, so having your own supply of wheat on hand is the best way to make sure you can breed the most powerful Pals in the game. Wheat isn’t so easy to come by, so we’ll equip you with all the knowledge required to get your farm going.

As soon as the trailer dropped showing Ichiban rolling through Hawaii on a segway in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, we knew we had to experience that for ourselves. While the real things are not all that exciting anymore, they are actually extremely useful within the game. If you expect to be given one as part of the story, you’ll end up with sore feet from hoofing it across the island. If you want to explore Hawaii in style, you’ll want to grab a Street Surfer as soon as possible. Here’s how you can snag one and get rolling!

If you came into Palworld expecting it to be a reskin of Pokémon, you will realize very quickly that there’s way more to this game than catching and fighting the different types of Pals. Crafting is a major mechanic in the game, requiring you to go out and find all kinds of resources. When you start reaching the more exciting items to craft, the materials you need will get harder and harder to come by, such as Pure Quartz, which you need to make Circuit Boards. These are necessary for a lot of late-game equipment, so Pure Quartz will be a key ingredient to have on hand.

There’s no real explanation for it in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, but in the time between it and the preceding title, Ichiban has lost almost all of his skills, levels, and jobs. Even his personality stats are back to zero! That’s to be expected coming into a new game and just means we get to earn all those levels all over again in the tropical paradise of Hawaii.

What monster-collection game would be complete without some Legendary versions to track down and add to your team? Palworld launched with a very respectable roster of Pals across its nine types, but unfortunately, it only has four Legendaries to start. However, even if you have friends along to help you search, this is a massive open world with a ton of ground to cover. If you think your team is up to the challenge and want to take on some of the toughest Pals in the game, here is where you can find all of the Legendaries currently in the game.

Prior to launch, Masayoshi Yokoyama, the head of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, made bold claims about just how much time players would spend in Like a Dragon: InfiniteWealth.Yokoyama claimed that “if you attempt to clear everything, it may never end.” Obviously, that was hyperbole, but just how much content really is in the game?
