Gamescom is set to take place in Cologne, Germany later this month, and as has been the case for a few years now, it’ll be kicking off with a live stage show in Gamescom Opening Night Live. Produced and hosted by The Game Awards and Summer Game Fest creator Geoff Keighley, ONL tends to bring several major new updates and announcements every year, but what should we expect from this year’s showcase?

Geoff Keighley has provided an update on his next flagship game show, Gamescom Opening Night Live, which he says will focus less on announcing new projects.

In fact, recently, Geoff took to Twitter and alerted fans of one video game in particular that will have a showcase. 

Gamescom will be kicking off under two weeks from now with Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 22, and we’re beginning to learn more about what we can expect from that opening showcase- starting with one of 2023’s most highly anticipated titles.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor publisher Electronic Arts has announced that Respawn is working on a port for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One during an earnings call that took place earlier today.
