Featuring a striking black-and-white aesthetic and gruesome horse skeleton enemies, it looks just as brilliantly bone-chilling as his previous offerings, and it's certainly gone down well on Steam. At the time of writing, it's got a "very positive" rating from players and is flying high on Steam's New and Trending chart. That being said, it's not quite managed to make it all the way to the top of said chart, and it's all because of a turnip on a crime spree.

Developers Dillon Rogers and David Szymanski have announced a major new update for indie immersive sim Gloomwood. The update, dubbed The Mirror Realm, brings with it the eponymous new realm that players can visit to more easily revisit other places in Gloomwood.

Iron Lung, an indie horror game so popular it's getting a movie adaptation starring Markiplier, has raised its pricing on Steam to $8 (£6.70), a price hike of two whole dollars. For some reason, this has upset people to the point where the game's developer David Szymanski felt the need to respond.

Raising the price of the game from its original $6 price tag to $8, Szymanski responded by saying that he doesn’t care if people choose to buy the game or not.

Submarine adventure Iron Lung was one of the scariest games of 2022, and an absolute steal at $6 on PC or Switch. As of this November, it now costs $8 on Steam (still $6 on Switch at the time of writing), which remains an absolute steal. The new price is the result of the simple fact that – and you might want to sit down for this one – creator David Szymanski wants to make more money. 

The developer of hit indie horror Iron Lung, which mega YouTuber Markiplier is turning into a film, has told those who don’t agree with the game’s recent $2 price rise to “go pirate it or something”.

DUSK may have a bit of a renaissance ahead, as the developer New Blood Interactive announced it’s released the optional DUSK HD remaster of the game. Its purpose is twofold: to celebrate the game’s fifth anniversary, and the release of its software development kit and the accompanying Steam Workshop support.

New Blood Interactive have released a free HD DLC remaster for their reputation-making retro FPS Dusk, almost five years to the day since the original shooter launched on Steam. Honestly, the idea of remastering an alt-history "199X"-style homage to Half-Life and Doom does a number on my sense of time - which multiversal branch are we in now? This indie horror game grew in popularity after the YouTuber did a full playthrough last year that gained over 8 million views, and he enjoyed it so much that he is currently directing and starring in an Iron Lung film adaptation. The latest update adds a handful of cheats, 'Markiplier mode' being the silliest new addition. Once activated your vessel is plastered with multiple Markiplier meme faces from top to bottom.

Mark “Markiplier” Fischbach has posted a short teaser for his upcoming film adaptation of Iron Lung, a 2022 horror game from David Szymanski. But just five years after launch, its creators are adding the option to make it a little less retro⁠—Dusk HD got its first big showcase since a tease in the 2022 PC Gaming Show at this year's Realms Deep event.

Dusk is getting a free overhaul later this year, as the boomer shooter from a solo developer is approaching its fifth anniversary. Inspired by the classics like Doom, Wolfenstein, and Duke Nukem, Dusk is a true classic that brings forward the genre.

Publisher New Blood Interactive and developer David Szymanski have announced DUSK HD, a “full visual remaster” of retro first-person shooter DUSK. It will launch as a free update to DUSK in December.

Starfield players realized this week that their characters have rainclouds that follow them around planets, à la The Truman Show. Rain isn’t falling all over Neon, for instance — just wherever you roam. Put another way, you'll "use rusty tools to brutalize a gang of serial torturers in the remote Appalachian Forest", and view it all through the fuzz of a VHS filter.
