Nintendo has announced a new Indie World Showcase for April 17. The Indie World Showcase has historically featured announcements and updates for indie games coming to Nintendo Switch. Nintendo usually gives around 20 minutes to go over the assortment of indie game news.

Four years after its initial announcement, Braid: Anniversary Edition is finally launching on April 30th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC and Netflix. Whether you enjoyed the original or are jumping in for the first time, it will have a bevvy of new content, with creator Jonathan Blow confirming 35 new levels on Twitter.

Update: Following the leaks overnight, Ubisoft has now confirmed Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition is indeed in development. More news will be shared in early 2024, but the publisher is «dedicated to making it an experience that truly honors the legacy of the original». Ubisoft says the version that got out via its subscriptions service to the point where it was briefly playable was an early build that isn't «indicative of the final game».
