There is one mechanic in that is considered broken, but the truth to the fact is that it may simply be misunderstood. The new open-world RPG by Bethesda is set in space, where players can travel across the galaxy and visit several planets while uncovering the mysteries of the universe. While doing so, players can approach the game in whatever manner they prefer. They can, for instance, train to become ace pilots, while their general survivability skills on land are suboptimal. Alternatively, they can become masters of combat with physical builds in , or perhaps become sweet-tongued diplomats capable of talking their way out of danger.
There are several different ways of dealing with the situations presented by the game. While tanking open conflicts is usually the quickest way of resolving problems in, there is another viable approach that requires more patience and time, as it tends to be a bit slower: stealth. Instead of putting themselves at risk, players who use stealth move slowly and carefully around areas, killing off opponents without being seen. The issue is that, while this is a valid approach to the combat sections of the game, it is largely considered broken and somewhat unusable, so it is common for stealth to be quickly discarded.

Stealth is largely regarded as a terrible option in the game because, even while hiding, it is very easy to be seen by opponents – on Reddit points out their own struggles with the mechanic, for instance. Players who join Ryujin Industries in early on may also encounter obstacles. Because the questline is focused on subterfuge and not being seen, it is likely that they will be caught and have to resort to open combat. The problem is that the stealth mechanic is not actually broken, but it does require a bit more work to pull off successfully when compared to other tactics in the space RPG.
Like in many other Bethesda RPGs, stealth in relies on many other factors aside from the player’s ability to crouch. Stealth is influenced by elements such as lighting and noises, so the environment and how the player’s character fits into it make a tremendous difference. The problem is that the game does not tell players that too often or too openly. By turning off lights in a room and limiting an opponent’s vision, players will have a better time moving around unseen as opposed to doing so with the lights on. Even in darkened areas, rational stealth thinking will help players.
By sticking to the dark corners of a cave wall instead of being on the lit path, players will be made less noticeable by enemies. The same type of reasoning goes for sounds. Of course, weapons with silencer attachments
