Bandai Namco have published a new video for Sand Land, the upcoming action RPG set in the world of legendary Dragon Ball artist Akira Toriyama’s eponymous manga series. The video gives players an in-depth look at Sand Land’s key gameplay features.
In Sand Land, players will play as Sand Land’s main character, the Fiend Prince Beelzebub. Joined by his chaperone Thief and Sheriff Rao, the player will set off on an adventure to find the Legendary Spring concealed somewhere in the game’s desert world.
The world ofSand Land is fraught with danger and players will need to survive attacks from bandits, vicious wildlife, and even the Royal Army. Thankfully, players will have an array of vehicles at their disposal to traverse the world and fight their enemies. Vehicles can be customized with different weapons, engines, suspensions and more. The possibilities are varied with everything from battle tanks, to jump bots on offer.
There’s more to work on than just Beelzebub’s vehicles. Players will also need to develop their own base in the city of Spino and nurture relationships with its populace. As the player brings exiled people to Spino, the town will grow and so will its capabilities. Helping out the locals will reward the player with new materials and city features.
Sand Land arrives on the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on April 25.
