Even among Hideo Kojima's most diehard fans (not to be confused with Die-Hardman), I think it's a damn near universal opinion that Kojima made the wrong call when he replaced longtime voice actor David Hayter with Kiefer Sutherland in Metal Gear Solid 5. Nvidia is raising the price of GeForce Now, but not in the US

Enjoying Starfield on GeForce Now, where the cloud gaming service is one of the best ways to play? Starting November 1st, it’ll cost you $6 more in Canada, £2 more in the UK, or an additional €2 in Europe per month for the must-have Ultimate plan. Six-month plans are going up by $20 CAD, £10, and €10, respectively.
Nvidia spokesperson Jordan Dodge tells me the United States is currently exempt from the price changes. “No price change happening in the US,” he says.
The company says the hikes “account for increased operational costs” in the specific countries where they’re rolling out, according to a customer help page, and that GeForce Now founders can still pay grandfathered pricing as originally promised.
GeForce Now already shut down in Russia, as of October 1st.
This will be the third price hike for GeForce’s top tier — Nvidia doubled it twice in 2021. For example, UK subscribers who chose to leave their Founders plans for upgraded graphics and latency will have gone from paying £4.99 a month to £8.99 a month to £17.99 a month to, finally, £19.99 a month starting November 1st. Still, the Ultimate tier is a much more impressive service than the Priority one, and that leap accounts for most of the cost.
It’s apparently that time of year when streaming subscription services announce their price increases one after another, in hopes of normalizing the trend. Netflix is reportedly next, and we’re covering all the price hikes here.
