We are all aware of how the debut of NVIDIA's previous Hopper H100 GPUs came with a massive order backlog in the supply chain due to the low production capacities of packaging facilities. This created a huge problem for NVIDIA since they were struggling to meet the massive AI market demand, ultimately creating gaps for competitors to fill in. It took the company months to fix the situation by diversifying its supply chain and "forcing" partners to take rapid measures to expand existing facilities, which did solve the problem to some extent.

With the next-generation Blackwell GPUs dropping by, people were curious about the supply situation, and it seems like NVIDIA has finally given us an update on what to expect; according to CEO Jensen Huang, we could expect a much better situation in the future.
In terms of how the company has managed to expand its supply chain, partners such as TSMC have invested heavily in packaging facilities and recently announced that they would invest $16 billion into developing six different units, all focused on CoWoS supply. Similarly, NVIDIA has added vendors into its supply arsenal, with the likes of Samsung Foundry contributing to both HBM and CoWoS supply, to ensure the firm's clients won't face substantial order backlogs. The company is also taking full advantage of its CuLitho technology to streamline the manufacturing & production capabilities at TSMC and Synopsys.
Now that NVIDIA has streamlined its supply chain sources, it looks like the company is all set to sell massive volumes of its Blackwell AI GPUs, and we have already seen a glimpse of it with Meta ordering the initial batches of the company's latest Blackwell B200s, marking a beginning to a significant era. NVIDIA expects the data center markets to grow by $250 billion this year, and the company is all set to capitalize from it through its latest AI products.
