Shōgunis an early contender for 2024’s best TV show. The series, which debuted in February, is smart, complicated, tremendously well made, beautifully acted, and the most watched FX series ever, according to a press release from the network. All of which makes Thursday’s announcement that the show is coming back for more season pretty unsurprising. The only question that remains is what exactly those seasons are going to be about.

Old-school FPS adventure The Explorator contains much more intense shooty violence than the adorable lizardy folk that populate it might immediately suggest. I really want to use the word ‘zany’ without irony here to describe its hand-drawn 2D style and animations, but I’m afraid that ship has long since sailed into the sun. Like the Adult Swim cartoons it reminded me of, it’s got a sense of the sardonic and a penchant for violence, but still comes from a place of having recently devoured several bowls of suspiciously colorful cereal. Apple Vision Pro is getting a new VR experience based on Marvel’s What If? from Marvel Studios and ILM Immersive. The Marvel’s What If? animated series first premiered on Disney+ in 2021 and featured a compilation of stories from across the MCU’s multiverse, as narrated by Uatu the Watcher. These stories present alternate scenarios that retell key moments from the MCU films, with many of the actors from the movies reprising their roles. The second season of Marvel’s What If? premiered in late 2023, with a third season currently in production.

A creative and skillful Pokemon fan and artist has made a new drawing depicting what it would look like if Mawile had a human form. The humanized renditions, which include a version for regular Mawile as well as Mega Mawile, makes clever use of the Pokemon's unusual design, yielding some seriously impressive results.

Shaders in Destiny 2 have always provided one of the main methods for armor and weapon customization, and Bungie have recently confirmed that some useful changes will be coming with the game's upcoming Final Shape expansion in the interest of improving shaders' color accuracy in the UI.
