Nintendo's mobile racer is coming to the end of its development cycle.

Nintendo has revealed its latest Switch OLED model — the Mario Red edition.
This new console edition is, as you can see in the header image above, very red. It features a little Mario silhouette tucked away on the back corner of the base, as well as some hidden coins inside its back panel.
This new Switch OLED will be available to scoop up from 6th October. While Nintendo hasn't shared specifics yet, it has said to keep an eye out for more information on pre-orders, and presumably a price, «soon».
Nintendo revealed its latest OLED design during today's Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct.
Here, we got a closer look at the upcoming title's gameplay, including its selection of new forms for Mario and co. These include the already shown elephant form, as well as the game's new Drill and Bubble forms.

Nintendo is putting the brakes on Mario Kart Tour, as the company announced the game will receive its final new content next month.
Sometimes, My Nintendo rewards can drop without warning. Although Super Mario Wonder is tenuously linked to this new “Mario shopping bag” reward, it doesn’t really have anything to do with Wonder specifically and could have arrived at any point in time. Still, it exists, and you can snag it!
Last month, Nintendo revealed longtime Mario voice actor Charles Martinet will no longer voice the character. The company stopped short of revealing who is taking over the role, although it did say we’d find out in the upcoming release of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which does not feature Martinet as Mario.
Nintendo announced on Tuesday that it would be releasing a few new bundles, including a Mario Kart 8 bundle and Animal Crossing-themed Nintendo Switch Lites, next month.
It was a surprise to fans worldwide when we discovered that the iconic character, Mario, would receive a new voice actor. Nintendo’s flagship character had been voiced for decades by Charles Martinet. This actor has been offering his talents to Nintendo to give Mario those iconic phrases fans have become familiar with. But after his lengthy run, it looks like Charles was ready to hang up his cap and pass the torch. Unfortunately, we’re not sure just who that torch has been passed on to.
Nintendo has revealed three new Switch bundles releasing next month. One is a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle that includes a standard Switch model and the other two are special Animal Crossing: New Horizons-themed Switch Lite consoles that include the game. All three bundles will be released on October 6.
We may have heard Mario and Luigi’s new voices in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, but Nintendo will not be confirming who is voicing them until the game’s release, according to Nintendo president Doug Bowser.

Have you ever wanted to play as Mario, but also be an Elephant? If so, your time has finally come. Super Mario Wonder drops on the Nintendo Switch on October 20th. If you count the Mario Maker games more as sandbox experiences, this will be the first side-scrolling adventure for everyone’s favorite plumber since Super Mario 3D World on the Wii-U. Of course, it did breathe new life when it was ported to the Switch in 2021. A Nintendo Direct this morning gave us some new information about Super Mario Wonder .
