Players are diving into new Enchants coming with The War Within, and we're highlighting some of the most anticipated: the Weapon Enchants!
This new batch of Weapon Enchantments seems to aim for an overall simpler tone than some of those from Dragonflight, such as Enchant Weapon — Spore Tender or Enchant Weapon — Shadowflame Wreathe. While focusing mainly on increasing Secondary stats such as Haste or Critical Strike, a few standout Enchantments such as Enchant Weapon — Authority of the Depths still maintain unique effects that are sure to create interesting interactions in theorycrafting and simming for many players.

The Creation Catalyst appears to be receiving some new updates in The War Within, as our datamining indicates that it will now allow players to catalyze weapons in addition to pieces of armor, converting them into new weapons with predetermined stats.

We've datamined a handful of new Earthen tools and ornate jeweled weapon models in this week's update for The War Within Alpha! While the tools appear to be fairly basic farm and mining implements, the weapons are similar in style to many of the Earthen weapon and armor models found in last week's build.

Weapon Oils are making a return in The War Within, adding another consumable to the list that players will want to manage in order to bring out the best in their characters. Last seen in Shadowlands, Weapon Oils have taken several forms throughout the lifespan of World of Warcraft. Originating all the way back in Vanilla with classics such as Wizard Oil and Superior Mana Oil, Oils traditionally have been consumables that give just a bit more power to players right where it counts.
Players looking to race through new content might have a bit of a headstart with new Enchantments coming in The War Within — both for Mount Speed and Character Speed! Some particularly interesting Enchantments caught our eye while datamining in The War Within: While most of these Enchantments add the Speed tertiary stat to player character speed, one Enchantment seems to offer an increase in Mounted speed — Cavalry's March. Players have loved effects such as Crusader Aura which increase Mounted speed, and having even a small boost on your Boots would be a welcome gift for players that don't necessarily worry about mix-maxing for raiding or other content.
