During yesterday's State of Play broadcast, Ubisoft debuted a new Avatar Frontiers of Pandora trailer, detailing the game's story.
The official story trailer as the trailer is called is roughly 2.30 minutes in length and shows gameplay from the upcoming first-person action adventure. Not only does the trailer provide additional details about the game's story, but it also gives fans a look at the Na'vi clans featured in Ubisoft's upcoming title. Check out the new Avatar Frontiers of Pandora trailer below:
"You set out on a journey to discover the world that was kept from you, meeting other Na'vi clans and learning about Na'vi culture", the development team writes on the game's official blog. "You discover that you are a member of the respected Sarentu clan, believed to have disappeared years before. As you journey across the Western Frontier, you will meet the Aranahe, a clan of artisans known for their weaving skills; the Zeswa, a proud nomadic clan that lives in symbiosis with gigantic beasts called Zakru; and the Kame'tire, a reclusive, enigmatic clan skilled in healing and potion-making."
The team also said: "As a rite of passage, you will bond with your own banshee, or ikran (as the Na'vi say). Together, you will be able to explore Pandora from a new perspective: that of the skies. You can also fish with them, perform acrobatics above the clouds, and fight against the RDA together. You can also expand your exploration possibilities on the ground by learning to ride a direhorse."
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on December 7th. Back in March of this year, a leak suggested that the game would be a first-person title. As covered last month, both FSR and DLSS upscaling will be supported in Frontiers of Pandora despite Ubisoft Massive partnering up with AMD.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been on a lot of people’s minds lately. The recent release of the Phantom Liberty DLC and the big 2.0 update has brought the game back into the fore (not that it ever truly left). However, it looks as though CD Projekt Red is ready to move onto something else.

But in terms of big announcements, Fanfest's highlight for many EVE fans wasn't the main game itself, but CCP's return to the FPS with EVE Vanguard, a PvPvE looter-shooter that links to EVE Online itself and is a successor to 2013's ill-fated Dust 514.
