Shift Up’s Stellar Blade isn’t out yet, but the developer is already prepping for post-launch. Speaking to RULIWEB (translation via Genki on Twitter), director Kim Hyung-tae confirmed that future updates will add New Game Plus and new costumes.

The latest update for Helldivers 2 has sneakily added new enemies, including four-legged colossal machines. Recently, Helldivers 2 released its second major update, bringing several gameplay modifiers and bumping up the level cap from 50 to 150. The top-down shooter game has introduced balance changes, including the SG-8S Slugger shotgun nerf, which has sparked debate among players.

Shift Up is gearing up to face the spotlight of the mainstream gaming market with the imminent launch of Stellar Blade, but though the upcoming PlayStation-backed action-adventure game certainly has plenty of eyes on it, the Korean studio is seemingly also already thinking about what comes next.

Dave the Diver team Mintrocket has today announced the PS5 and PS4 versions of its 2023 indie hit will release on 16th April 2024, and they'll be available straight away via PS Plus Extra also. Sony is introducing (in beta form) a new section named Lore, which will sort of turn the app into a second screen-style experience, containing things like diary entries, character profiles, and cutscenes as you come across them in-game on your PS5.
