It’s been more than ten years since Game Dev Tycoon first dropped on PC. Later, in 2017, it launched on both Android and iOS, with an expanded roster of iconic game console renderings. Now, Netflix is bringing the popular title into its own gaming portfolio as Game Dev Tycoon expanded.
Netflix has added Game Dev Tycoon to the exclusive lineup of interactive entertainment. It means that Netflix subscribers can access and play the game directly through the Netflix app as part of their membership.
So, while the game continues to be available for purchase on the Play Store and App Store, Netflix subscribers can play this version at no additional cost. Not a Netflix subscriber? Grab the game for $4.99 from the Google Play Store.
Netflix is also adding exclusive content by including nods to its popular series and movies. Dragon's Dogma 2 is, to put it mildly, an atypical RPG. To put it less mildly, Capcom was well and truly off its rocker and on a bender with this one.
