In a short interview with MrGM during a live World of Warcraft community event in London, Associate Game Director Morgan Day answered questions regarding Dragonflight, MoP Remix, and The War Within, revealing that all Keystone Master mounts going forward will be capable of dynamic flight!

The War Within is bringing us to exciting new zones, introducing us to old friends and new, and most importantly, updating our professions! We're taking a dive into Fishing in The War Within's Alpha, reeling in fun new fish, cosmetics, and a new mechanic to spice up the profession!

Profession bags will be in high demand in The War Within — each new bag comes with a special effect, such as increasing reagent gain or decreasing cooldowns! Tailors will have a new bag full of tricks once they learn these new recipes, and every profession will want to obtain one of these new bags. Each is Unique-Equipped, so unfortunately you can't double up on effects, but you can equip two different profession bags at the same time — you won't have to choose which of your professions you find more important!

The Creation Catalyst appears to be receiving some new updates in The War Within, as our datamining indicates that it will now allow players to catalyze weapons in addition to pieces of armor, converting them into new weapons with predetermined stats.

Players love to customize their characters — whether that be through transmog, fun transformation toys, consumables, or even stealing someone else's look with Reflecting Prism. The War Within will take that even further with a fun new consumable focused on transforming your race on demand: Glamour Scrolls! These Glamour Scrolls can be created relatively easily by Enchanters, requiring only Skill 40 and a small amount of Leyline Residue and Storm Dust. The only catch is the length of time you can stay transformed: the quality of the scroll determines where you fall within the range of 20 to 60 minutes. Your faction doesn't seem to matter — as of now, there are no restrictions on the items for Alliance or Horde, so you may be able to choose any race you'd like! At this time, we've datamined Glamour Scrolls for almost every race. The current exception is Dracthyr: so far, we haven't found any indication of being able to take on a draconic form.

In The War Within, Engineers will be able to craft Potion Bombs, powerful external potion buffs that augment small groups of players within range. These Potion Bombs currently come in three different types: DPS, Movement Speed, and Healing. Using a Potion Bomb is simple — use it as you would any other consumable, choose your target area, and buff your allies while damaging enemies caught in the radius. While Engineers are the only ones able to produce these new support consumables, anyone — even non-Engineers — can use them to help their group. Speaker Brinthe is a new character in the War Within, and she has a unique model with an interesting mechanical backpack! You may remember Brinthe from our recent post on Earthen lore, where she explains the problems with memory archives to Dagran. She also plays a role in the new zone open for testing, The Ringing Depths. Speaker Brinthe has an elaborate tinker robe and animated spinning bracers, but the highlight of her outfit is her mechanical backpack! We haven't seen anything quite like this before on an NPC.
