Marvel Studios Confirms Two Disney+ Shows Speculated to be Canceled are Still On Track

Brad Winderbaum, head of streaming at Marvel Studios, recently addressed rumors that two Disney+ series,Ironheart and Wonder Man, had been quietly canceled.

Marvel Studios has been making significant strides in expanding its universe beyond the silver screen, with projects like Ironheart and Wonder Man in the works. Ironheart, starring Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, is a series created by Chinaka Hodge based on the Marvel character originally developed by Brian Michael Bendis and Mike Deodato. Thorne first portrayed Williams in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, where she was introduced as a tech prodigy who manages to replicate Iron Man's technology and is allowed to keep it. The series features an impressive ensemble cast, including Manny Montana, Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, and Alden Ehrenreich, with rumors suggesting that Sacha Baron Cohen will also make his MCU debut in the series.

Wonder Man, on the other hand, will follow the story of Simon Williams, a movie star turned superhero, portrayed by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
