Lords of the Fallen Gameplay Showcases Fitzroy’s Gorge and Ruiner Boss Fight

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is out next January, and a new video is available outlining the story and various cutscenes. Fortunately, there’s also some new extensive gameplay showcasing the Hawaiian setting, combat and much more. Check it out below.

Announced during Sony's latest State of Play, Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn is a story-driven expansion for 2021's Tales of Arise. It takes place roughly one year after the events of the base game, which obviously leads to a lot of questions regarding the DLC's structure. Fortunately, Bandai Namco general producer Yusuke Tomizawa has detailed what we can expect over on the official PlayStation Blog.

Lords of the Fallen greatly expands on the Soulslike action of its predecessor with faster-paced battles and more choice when it comes to character customization and builds. But it's not just about adding to what's come before, as the reboot also has plenty of new ideas up its sleeve, the most enticing of which being its dual-world mechanic. 

The first voice you hear in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon belongs to Handler Walter, the mysterious figure that brought you to Rubicon and gets you many of the contract jobs that you complete throughout the game. Another voice you hear early on is Ayre, a disembodied Rubiconian who saves your life at the end of Chapter 1. Both of these figures talk to you throughout the game and form a bond as the story unfolds. In the game’s final chapter, you must choose to either follow the plans of Walter’s group, the Overseers, and destroy the Coral or side with Ayre and ensure the Coral’s survival. If you decide to follow Ayre’s path, the final boss of the game is Handler Walter who pilots his own unique AC. With your goal only moments away, it’s time for the hound to bite his master’s hand. After a long, long wait, Alan Wake 2 is now finally approaching release, and with a little over a month left until the survival horror sequel’s launch, new details and gameplay footage are continuing to be doled out at a regular clip. This holiday season, Hellboy is taking a trip to Iceland to meet one of the island nation's most eccentric and interesting mythical figures, the Yule Cat. The story will take place in 2023's aptly named Hellboy Winter Special: The Yule Cat, which carries on Dark Horse Comics' tradition of releasing a new Hellboy special every holiday season.

The Boys cinematic universe might be growing, and don’t expect the series to end any time soon. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Amazon executive Vernon Sanders shared that they’ve been having plenty of conversations with series creator Eric Kripke about what comes next.

Lords of the Fallen's developer wants to "allow our players to incarnate the hero (or bulky horror) of their dreams" and is giving them the means to do just that. 

The gameplay reveals for Lords of the Fallen, Hexworks’ follow-up to the 2014 Souls-like action RPG, continue with 17 minutes of uninterrupted gameplay. While the previously showcased Ruiner fight is seen at the beginning, the rest is brand-new and offers a look at Radiant magic in combat. Check it out below.
