Reliable Fortnite leakers have shared the first details of the game’s upcoming Rocket Racing mode, which is set to join the roster of core Fortnite game modes following the finale of the OG Season. While it doesn’t sound as engaging as battle royale, fans are excited for something fresh.

Today, Epic Games gave Fortnite players a taste of what’s to come when Fortnite OG ends with The Big Bang Event. A short clip has been posted online showing the rocket currently awaiting launch on the map, soaring through the sky with an active time machine.

With Season of the Wish coming soon for Destiny 2, Bungie has revealed the seasonal artifact – the Queensfoil Censer. Though it includes perks for Solar, Strand and Stasis, there’s also a heavy focus on Rocket Launchers.

Developed by Final Strike Games and published by EA, Rocket Arena was a 3vs3 arena shooter launched in 2020 and was really rather good. While the name had gamers of a certain age wistfully thinking of Quake fragfests, the experience was more mellow and akin to something like Super Smash Bros., all about controlling space and forcing your opponent out of bounds rather than just endless gibbing.

Rocket Arena, the third-person hero shooter published in 2020 by EA, has been removed from sale without much warning. So far neither EA or developers Final Strike Games have given a reason for the delisting, but you can no longer buy it from its Steam or EA store pages.

BioWare veteran Mac Walters left the storied RPG studio earlier this year after a 19-year career, during which he served as writer (and later lead writer) on the Mass Effect trilogy, creative director on Mass Effect: Andromeda, and production director on the still-in-development Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. Now he's announced his next venture: A new studio at NetEase called Worlds Untold, dedicated to developing «triple-A action adventure games with an emphasis on narrative and worldbuilding.»

In a paradigm-shifting move, Rocket Lab, a private aerospace company, is breaking new ground in planetary exploration. Departing from traditional government-led endeavours through NASA and other agencies, Rocket Lab is set to launch the first private mission to study Venus in search of microbial life, challenging the notion that interplanetary exploration requires astronomical budgets and government backing.

SpaceX's ambitious project Starship may not have fared well in its first test flight, but there is reason for hope, as the rocket has received clearance from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The directive was given yesterday, November 15, and Elon Musk's SpaceX will now conduct its 2nd test launch to see whether the issues from the first test flight have been resolved or not. According to the company, it has scheduled the launch tomorrow, November 17, in a small two-hour window.
