Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed is an upcoming 3D action platformer and the sequel to the latest animated film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, picking up the story several months later. It's due out on PS5 and PS4 in Q4 of 2024, and we got our first glimpse of it in screenshots and learned more about the game's structure.

Yesterday, we brought you word of a brewing controversy surrounding the upcoming PS5 action game Rise of the Ronin after director Fumuhiko Yasuda made some comments alluding to a controversial 19th-century Japanese philosopher. FromSoftware took the extremely influential Dark Souls formula open world with its magnum opus, Elden Ring, ably assisted in this by publisher and co-IP holder Bandai Namco. Now, it appears that potentially, thanks to that significant injection of cash from Sony and Tencent to a 30% stake, FromSoftware is the sole proprietor of the IP, with Bandai Namco transferring ownership rights back in April 2023.
