Yes, Kingdom Hearts 4 might officially be in development, but for now, there is no telling when the next game in the series will actually be here. We might have to wait a while, and wherever possible, the best way to fill the Kingdom Hearts-shaped holes in our lives is with other official merch inspired by the games. If that's exactly what you need to bridge the gap between games right now, then you can pre-order Square Enix's light-up Keyblade on Amazon.
Modeled after Sora's iconic Keyblade from the Kingdom Hearts series, this new official replica is 14 inches long, so not quite as big as the one the protagonist wields in the games, and doubles as a torch if you pop in a couple of triple-A batteries. Since it's an officially licensed product, the attention to detail is pretty great. The keyblade even has a little Mickey Mouse charm hanging from the handle.

It's unclear whether the light-up keyblade is a limited item, or if pre-orders will stay open for a pre-determined amount of time and Square will make as many of them as it needs to. Either way, if you do want a Keyblade, it's probably best not to hang around and order one through the link below as soon as possible. The bad news is even though pre-orders are live, the wait to get the Keyblade in your hands will be a long one. The product won't actually be released until July 31, 2024.

The good news is even if Square keeps us in the dark about Kingdom Hearts 4 for another full year, it's going to be a year filled with merch to tide us over. Not only the light-up Keyblade but also a Sora Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo. Nintendo finally confirmed Sora will get his own amiibo in 2024 during the last Direct. Sora was the only character on the roster without one, and since he is technically owned by Disney, there was a little doubt other whether the Kingdom Hearts character would ever become an amiibo.
Back to the merch, and if the standard Keyblade design doesn't grab you, there are a variety of different Spirit Halloween ones available on Amazon right now. No, they don't light up like the iconic design above, but they are slightly cheaper, quite a bit bigger, and there are a number of different designs to choose from.
