Khaz Algar Questing Armor and Weapon Models in The War Within

We've datamined a handful of new Earthen tools and ornate jeweled weapon models in this week's update for The War Within Alpha! While the tools appear to be fairly basic farm and mining implements, the weapons are similar in style to many of the Earthen weapon and armor models found in last week's build.

In the latest Alpha build, we've datamined datamined the unique model of Harronir Orweyna suggesting she might be a major lore figure that we'll interact with in future zones. While we haven't encountered the Harronir in The War Within thus far, we did previously highlight the overwhelming number of customization options of this potential Allied Race in the initial Alpha build. Collectors rejoice, completing a quest in The War Within now awards all appearance rewards, regardless of weapon or armor type! Earn plate cosmetics on your Monk or leather on your Priest, just from finishing the same quest. What's more, there's also a new dropdown menu that allows players to swap between classes in the appearance tab — helping players see what transmog they might/not have without changing characters! Note this is sorted by class rather than armor type, so exclusive cosmetics like the elusive Kor'kron Dark Shaman Armor won't show for Hunter.

We've datamined several pieces of special effect gear and trinkets from The War Within alpha, including a two-piece weapon and trinket set for agility classes! Although not all confirmed, most of these items appear to come from the first raid in The War Within, a Nerubian themed zone in which we face off against the underground arachnid kingdom.

It's been a busy week in WoW and here's Blizzard's recap of the awesome events that happened this last week.

As expected, there are several new alchemy potions and phials coming to The War Within, though players may be surprised by some of their new effects, which include PvP content flasks that increase honor gains! As in Dragonflight, most of the profession crafted items have three ranks of quality that increase their potency, though for the sake of simplicity, only the rank 3 versions are linked below.

In this post, we're taking a look at all the new «Earthen Dungeon» armor and weapon models in the War Within, presumably from the eight new expansion dungeons. Note that while the weapons come in many colors, the available armor tints are limited--we expect them to increase as the alpha progresses. The cloth set will also have a robe option in the future.
