Jusant receives massive accessibility update

During The Game Awards, Red Barrels showed off a new trailer and provided an official release date for the third release in the Outlast franchise, The Outlast Trials. The game will be available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Two digital launch versions will be available that can be pre-ordered on both the Xbox and PlayStation digital stores now. This will include the Grizzly Hazmat Outfit with the pre-order. The Outlast Trials will release on March 5 for all platforms as the game launched in Early Access on PC during May 2023. This will be set in the same universe as the previous games but can be played with a friends in a team of up to four people.

One of the most surprising reveals at last night’s The Game Awards ceremony was the sudden return of Skull and Bones, a co-op open-world pirate action-RPG that was first announced all the way back in 2017.

Skull and Bones’ constant delays and development troubles have become something of a nuisance at this point, but it seems Ubisoft is (once again) ready to move in the direction of a firm release date. At The Game Awards, the publisher premiered a new trailer for the pirate game, confirming recent rumours that it will launch in February.

Behaviour Interactive announced earlier this year that it had partnered with Supermassive Games (Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology) for the development of a new single player narrative-driven horror title set in the Dead by Daylight universe, and as recently confirmed, the game was formally unveiled at The Game Awards.

Epic Games has released a new cinematic trailer for LEGO Fortnite, its upcoming survival crafting experience based on The Lego Group’s IP. It showcases the events that led to this LEGO adventure (read: portals) and some of the things players can do. Check it out below.

If The Outlast Trials isn’t enough horror, The Game Awards will also see Supermassive Games’ Dead by Daylight title appearing. A new tweet is available, featuring the message from studio director Steve Goss and executive producer Traci Tufte from May, which promised more details later this year. It seems we’ll finally learn more on December 7th.

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has announced that Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will receive an English dub this month.

Patch 5 delivers another batch of changes to the hit RPG, further expanding and improving an experience that has only continued to grow since its official release in August. As with the other major patches for the game, Patch 5 is a mix of everything from minor bug fixes to major additions, with the latter category receiving an arguably bigger boost now than ever before. It also takes up a whopping 30 GB of space, so it might be necessary to clear out some files before taking advantage of everything new.

Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Trilogy is finally coming to Nintendo Switch this week after facing some delays, and a new gameplay trailer is available to showcase all three games.
