It looks like Jujutsu Kaisen will be the next anime hit to come to Fortnite

If someone were to write the history of internet video, I think they'd need to mention Killer Bean. Released in 1996, just a year after Toy Story, it was a two-minute, 3D animated short about gun-toting beans, and almost entirely the work of one person. A slightly longer and much improved sequel, Killer Bean 2: The Party, was released in 2000.

A “Special Trial Version” of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will be included with Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, publisher SEGA and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced.

Hybe, the company behind immensely popular K-pop stars BTS, is getting into video games. The first release from the Korean company’s newfounded games publisher Hybe IM (with IM standing for “Interactive Media”) will be Astra: Knights of Veda, a 2D RPG with more than a touch of Dark Souls and Elden Ring to its heavily-armoured bosses and big scary dog monsters, if its first gameplay trailer is anything to go by.

It’s been a minute since we last heard about Netflix’s upcoming Scott Pilgrim anime produced by Science Saru of Devilman Crybaby and Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! fame. Well, the long wait is (almost) finally over: Netflix not only shared the first official trailer for Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, but announced that the series is slated to premiere this November.

The dungeon crawling Hammerwatch series is lowkey one of my favorite co-op RPG romps, and today the series gets a much bigger sequel that has me psyched to go back. Hammerwatch 2 takes the series' fast-paced dungeon battles I enjoyed with friends and beefs them up with an open world, bigger skills list, gear, and quest system. It sounds like the indie upstart action RPG that we need right in the wake of Diablo 4. It's not heavily inspired by the modern giants of ARPGs though, its developer Crackshell tells me, and is instead chasing the greatness of much older gaming touchstones.

Viewers of might be wondering exactly are in the series and when each new episode comes out. The first five episodes of Season 2 acted as a prequel to Season 1 and explored Gojo’s past. Now, the season will jump back to the present day, and take the story forward to adapt the Shibuya Incident.

As expected, this year’s Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare 3, will have a public beta available first to PlayStation users.

Epic Games has released a for the popular battle royale video game’s latest collaboration. The Break the Curse event will run from now until Friday, August 25 at 2 a.m. ET.

Another crossover event is now live for Fortnite, this time being “Break the Curse” which is inspired by the Jujutsu Kaisen anime. It includes in-game themed content such as offensive techniques, purchasable cosmetics in the item store, and two event passes for more rewards. The Break the Curse event runs until August 25 at 2 AM ET, so there’s plenty of time to jump in to experience and earn everything before the Chapter 4 Season 3 Wilds season ends.
