The for Indy’s last adventure has been set, and it isn’t too far off.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will release digitally on Tuesday, August 29. On that date, the film will become available on all major digital retailers, including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Vudu. It will also include previously unseen bonus content, including five chapters that chronicle the making of the sequel with the cast and crew.
“Daredevil archaeologist Indiana Jones races against time to retrieve a legendary dial that can change the course of history,” reads the movie’s synopsis. “Accompanied by his goddaughter, he soon finds himself squaring off against Jürgen Voller, a former Nazi who works for NASA.”
The fifth and final installment in the Indiana Jones series was directed by Oscar nominee James Mangold (Logan) from a new screenplay he co-wrote with Jez and John-Henry Butterworth; both previously collaborated on Ford v Ferrari. Mangold took over the director’s chair after Steven Spielberg exited his directorial duties for the film. Despite his exit, Spielberg remained a part of the film’s production as a producer.
The film stars Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Olivier Richters, Ethann Isidore, and Mads Mikkelsen.

Zen Studios, the developer behind Pinball FX, is releasing a separate M-rated pinball game with horror-themed tables.
“A bear and a mouse busk for their supper” reads like a classic bar joke setup, tuned to suit children’s sense of humor and guileless outlook. “A bear and a mouse confront a musically anhedonic kritocracy” is more of a mouthful, and much less kid-friendly. So the education about rigid forms of government nestled in Ernest & Celestine: A Trip to Gibberitia, Julien Chheng and Jean-Christophe Roger’s sequel to the 2012 animated feature Ernest & Celestine, feels a bit out of the blue.
In Polygon's recent interview with design director Emil Pagliarulo, it was revealed that Starfield very nearly had a voiced protagonist in the style of Fallout 4's sole survivor.

The Indiana Jones video game is something we know is in development. With the IP getting a new resurgence thanks to the most recent film release, what better time than now to get a video game out there, too? Unfortunately, we haven’t heard much about this title since the game was first revealed. Instead, the game is being developed under MachineGames alongside Bethesda. But besides that, the development team has kept things a bit hush. That might change soon as we know the game development is currently midway through being completed.
Bethesda hasn't said much about the new Indiana Jones game in the works at Wolfenstein developer MachineGames since its announcement a few years ago, but studio boss Todd Howard maintains that work on the game is going great.
Many iconic characters in cinema have had equally iconic entrances. Movie fans are sharing their favorite introductions, with Indy in Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark taking the number one spot for many.
Howard says he wonders if The Elder Scrolls 6 was announced at the right time.
