In a first, James Webb Space Telescope discovers water near rocky worlds

US space agency NASA's New Horizons spacecraft is again gearing up for an exciting endeavor this fall. While stationed in the outer reaches of the solar system, it plans to undertake an observation of Uranus and Neptune. Earlier, the New Horizons was used to study the dwarf planet Pluto. The mission's team is extending an invitation to the global community of amateur astronomers to join in on this remarkable journey. By observing both ice giants simultaneously, enthusiasts can actively contribute to space science.

The universe is filled with odd and special things that continue to shock and interest us regularly. Now, thanks to NASA's Hubble Space Telescope, we've discovered a different and troubled planet. However, Hubble isn't just for nice pictures. Throughout the years, it has collected lots of data, helping us learn important things about the universe. It has looked at stuff nearby like the moon and really far away galaxies. It's also watched things like exploding stars and cloudy areas in space.

THQ Nordic and Appeal Studios have semi-re-announced Outcast 2: A New Beginning as plain old Outcast: A New Beginning, having sensibly decided that positioning it as a sequel to a 24-year-old game might turn younger audiences away. In a pre-reveal showcase attended by RPS, producer Andreas Schmiedecker walked us through a few sections of this atypically green-fingered open world shooter.

Every year there are various space missions conducted to study the mysteries of the solar system. One such mission was launched by NASA nearly 17 years back to study the Sun. The spacecraft, known as the STEREO-A, collected data and was instrumental in unveiling various discoveries over the years. It had a partner too in the form of STEREO-B craft, but communication was lost with it. Now after 17 years, the STEREO-A spacecraft is rushing towards a rendezvous with the Earth. Notably, NASA has taken this opportunity to make STEREO-A further study the Sun from this vantage point in order to collect new information about our closest star.

The journey of the Lollipop Chainsaw remake has been weirdly vague so far. First, in June 2022 we were just told it was «back», without much indication what that meant; a month later we at least got confirmation it was a remake, not just a remaster, and with original producer Yoshimi Yasuda at the helm, but no actual title or platforms announced, and certainly no footage. Since then, it's been very quiet, despite a planned release this summer.
