Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition PC requirements revealed

Sony has enjoyed unprecedented success with the PC audience this year, courtesy of Helldivers 2, and though the co-op shooter is continuing to make waves, the company does have other titles lined up for the platform as well. Recently, Horizon Forbidden West made the jump to PC, and it’s gotten off to a decent start where its Steam numbers are concerned.

Two years and a month after Horizon Forbidden West launched on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, PC gamers can finally step into the vast and gorgeous post-apocalyptic Western USA created by Guerrilla Games.

A little over two years on from its original release, Horizon Forbidden West has launched for PC, following in its predecessor’s footsteps. It comes as part of a Complete Edition, which also includes the game’s expansion, Burning Shores. Check out its PC launch trailer below.

Nixxes Software has confirmed that Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is available on PC to preload. It also revealed the global release timings – the port goes live on March 21st at 8 AM PDT/11 AM EDT for those living in the United States, with London players gaining access at 3 PM GMT.

Helldivers 2 was only released last month and, already, it has had rave reviews among gamers. Early reports from those who have played the game applaud its challenging nature and it has provided a great follow-up to the first game, which was released in 2015.

Some tasty PS5 Pro specs have leaked out into the wild, and the console is allegedly set to feature its own upscaling tech. Dubbed Spectral Super Resolution, the tool will seemingly work similarly to the likes of DLSS and FSR, but Sony apparently thinks it’ll produce better results than AMD’s GPU feature.
