has been available on the PlayStation 5 for nearly nine months now, and with the impending arrival of the Nintendo Switch version of the game, this is a good opportunity for developers to make up for a flaw that the previous versions have. The RPG set in the wizarding world of fame lets everyone experience being a fifth-year student of Hogwarts in the 1800s. Familiar locations such as Hogwarts Castle, Hogsmeade, and more are all available for exploration in the open-world game full of danger and mystery.
Technical limitations made it difficult to bring the graphically intense to the Nintendo Switch, but it is finally almost here. The Nintendo Switch edition of the game will be released on November 14, 2023, and will be the last version to launch. With this release, developers could have a chance to make up for something that disappointed a lot of people earlier this year by making an exclusive quest reach a wider audience, and it could help to draw more interest in the Switch version after much of the initial hype for the game has now lessened.

At the initial launch of, there was a massive quest that was made exclusive to the PlayStation versions. «Minding Your Own Business» is a quest that takes place during the winter season of the game in Hogsmeade and features memorable NPCs such as Penny the house-elf and culminates in the chance to run a store in Hogsmeade. For an exclusive quest, this is a very involved one that goes beyond simply getting an article of clothing or some extra items, and it is disappointing to have it limited to only one console's version.
The «Haunted Hogsmeade» questline is an incredibly fun and fascinating set of quests that actually makes a big difference to the game and can add considerable value for those who purchased the game on PlayStation, but sadly everyone else was out of luck. Possibly, it was made exclusive as a way to highlight the capabilities of the PS5, as this quest is visually a very impressive display and the graphics of the PS5 highlight the horror theme, particularly when the mannequins first come to life.

The «Haunted Hogsmeade» quest, «Minding Your Own Business» takes players on an hour-long jaunt tackling challenging puzzles and fighting their way through a ghostly dungeon. If they can survive the evil animated mannequins and make it to the end, they ultimately get to have their own shop and the choice to either keep or free Penny the house-elf. is filled with amazing twists and turns and quests both large and small, but the quality of this one stands out above the rest, particularly when the final

The enormous open-world RPG feels a lot smaller for Switch users.
Hogwarts Legacy fans have been enjoying the game for the better part of this year. However, only today were those on the Nintendo Switch platform finally given access. That’s not too surprising, as we often see games get pushed further behind for the Nintendo Switch port release. But the Nintendo Switch is quickly aging, and it’s near time we get a proper successor console from the big Nintendo company. This Hogwarts Legacy release is another example of just how much content is forced out of the game just to optimize it for a release.
Since Hogwarts Legacy launched earlier this year, one of the biggest outstanding questions has been the upcoming Switch port. Hogwarts Legacy is a fairly ambitious, visually polished open-world game – it seemed near impossible it could work on the humble Switch. Well, Hogwarts finally lands on Nintendo’s handheld console today, and the results… aren’t terrible. Obviously, nowhere near as polished as on PC, Xbox Series X, or PS5, but not bad given the Switch’s limitations. YouTube channel SwitchUp posted a full breakdown of the Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy, which you can check out if you have around 15 minutes to spare, or you can scroll on down for our rundown of the salient points.
Following its gameplay reveal last week, Warner Bros. Games’ Hogwarts Legacy is out later today on the Nintendo Switch. Some have gotten their hands on it, including SwitchUp on YouTube, and while the action RPG runs “reasonably well” on Nintendo Switch, it does have a big flaw – the open world is no longer seamless.
The Nintendo Switch version of one of this year’s best-selling games, Hogwarts Legacy, has finally been released.
A new trailer for Hogwart's Legacy on the Nintendo Switch gives Harry Potter fans their first look at the game before it's release next week.
Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software have finally shared a first official look at Hogwarts Legacy running on Nintendo Switch just a few days ahead of launch.
Though Hogwarts Legacy has been out for several months now, those intending to play the open world action RPG on the Nintendo Switch have had to wait for the game longer than those on other platforms- though that wait is coming to an end. With the game set to launch for the Switch next week, a new trailer has been released by Nintendo over on Twitter.
Hogwarts Legacy kind of came and went earlier this year (twice, if you count the PS4/Xbox One ports), and now it’s about to release a third time: on Switch. It’s due out on November 14, and depending on who you ask, the below debut game trailer is either miraculous or messy. It really depends on your taste in Switch ports. The real test is going to be how it plays and if it can maintain a consistent framerate.
After making its debut on rival platforms earlier this year, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and beyond arrives on Nintendo Switch in Hogwarts Legacy.
Warner Bros. will be heavily veering into a live service model for its future games. During its latest Q3 earnings call, CEO David Zaslav confirmed that the company plans to transform its biggest video game franchises into long-term products, bolstered by regular content drops and heavy monetisation. In recent years, gamers have developed a distaste for such money-hungry practices, which often lock out content behind some form of paywall or a battle pass, instead of providing a complete game at launch. The idea is for players to keep playing WB-published games for months, instead of having AAA developers put out a new game every three to four years — which is the general cycle.
