Hi-Fi Rush Is Getting A Physical Release On PS5 And Xbox

After numerous delays, the anticipated System Shock remake launched on PC to solid reviews and enthusiastic fan response early last year, but when do console players get in on the retro cyberpunk fun? Developer Nightdive Studios have always said a console version of the new System Shock was in the works (which sets it apart from the PC-only original) but have been a bit cagey about when it might arrive.

It seems that Cyberpunk 2077 might not be the only gorgeous Polish-developed sci-fi game set in the future for much longer, as fellow Poland-based developer Critical Hit Games has announced Nobody Wants to Die, a new detective noir adventure set in New York City in the year 2329. It's due out in 2024 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Developer 11 bit studios has dropped a brand new trailer for the post-apocalyptic strategy game, Frostpunk 2, as part of yesterday's (March 6, 2024) Xbox Partner Prevewi event teasing a range of interesting new features before revealing a PC release date. 

Publisher PlayWay and developer Frozen District have released the Spring update for House Flipper 2, as well as announced that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions have been delayed by three weeks from their previously planned March 21 release date to April 10. This delay will allow the development team extra time to optimize the gameplay for console certification, as well as include both the Spring and April Fools’ Day updates.

Developer Red Barrels has announced that co-op horror game The Outlast Trials is out now on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The game’s full release comes after having spent a little under a year as an early access title. Check out the trailer for the game’s full release below.

It's a fairly niche title, developed by the now shuttered Japan Studio, but it has a very stylish open world and an even more unique combat system. All of this combined makes the news that Gravity Rush 2 might be getting a remaster pretty surprising.

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Dimps have announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on May 24. Those who already own the PS4 or Xbox One versions will be able to upgrade to the current-gen versions of the game, while also hanging on to all of their save data.

Even though it has been more than three years since PlayStation and Xbox moved into the next generation of console gaming, the current-gen updates keep coming. Dragon Ball FighterZ, which celebrated its sixth birthday in January, was confirmed to be getting a current-gen update this week. A free current-gen upgrade at that - a rarity at this stage as other studios have been charging $10 - and the cherry on the cake was the additional announcement that the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of FighterZ will be getting a physical release too.

Bandai Namco has announced that Dragon Ball FighterZ will officially launch on current-gen consoles later this month. Tomorrow, in fact.

Dragon Ball FighterZ finally launches digitally on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S on February 29 at midnight local time.

F1 24, the latest instalment in EA's annual racing series, is launching for PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam, Epic, and the EA App) on 31st May.
