Dungeons of Hinterberg, a gorgeous new Xbox exclusive indie that mixes Stardew Valley-like relationship building with Breath of the Wild's exploration, has a release window. It'll be out this summer.
The news coincides with a brand-new trailer showing off some of the areas you can explore through Dungeons of Hinterberg, from Doberkogel's minecarts to snowy Kolmstein and its rail grinding. The trailer also offers glimpses of the town, where the protagonist can connect with the townsfolk, watch movies, and defend against marauding monsters.
Announced late last year, Dungeons of Hinterberg turned heads with its stylized graphics and exploration. It looked in many ways like a graphically ambitious Stardew Valley, the beloved fan-favorite farm sim, but with a greater emphasis on combat and dungeon crawling. It is being developed by Curve Games, which has previously worked on Fluidity: Spin Cycle and Stealth Inc 2.
Dungeons of Hinterberg is far from the only reveal at IGN Fan Fest 2024. We also revealed the release date for Killer Klowns from Outer Space, delved deep into Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix, and much more.
Look for Dungeons of Hinterberg on both Xbox and PC.
