Gigantic: Rampage Edition Trailer Previews New Character for Hero Shooter

EA Sports released the first official trailer today, previewing the upcoming game and detailing some of the new features set to arrive.

New supernatural TV series Dead Boy Detectives, based on the DC Comics of the same name by Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner, has had an interesting journey to our screens. The Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero character roster continues to grow, as new magazine scans from Japan indicate characters like Beerus, Whis, Gohan, Videl, and Trunks will be playable in-game. Though not yet officially announced worldwide by Bandai Namco, the scans suggest that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will draw both from popular and recent major characters as well as from the deep well of story arcs present in the Dragon Ball multiverse.

The upcoming Fortnite collaboration with Star Wars might feature Chewbacca, a highly anticipated character, as a cosmetic skin. Fortnite has been celebrating May the Fourth in-game for the past few years. In 2023, Epic Games took it up a notch; Fortnite hosted a major Star Wars crossover event called Find the Force, and it even featured its own event pass with themed cosmetic rewards and quests.

2017's Gigantic was a fun MOBA experience while it lasted; the roster of heroes was fun and unique, the main Clash mode put a cool spin on the format, and each match played out in that sweet spot of «not too long, but not too short either.» It was poised to make a decent disruption in a then-crowded scene…but unfortunately, that disruption never came. Within a year, the game was shut down, lost to time, and thought to be forgotten.

The first for the DC Studios sequel to 2019’s Joker has been revealed, previewing the upcoming musical. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 4, 2024.
