Gamescom Latam launching in 2024, merging with BIG Festival

It’s always a good bet that Hideo Kojima may pop up to show something at The Game Awards, and he didn’t disappoint this evening. No, he didn’t show Death Stranding 2, instead he finally teased his long-ago announced Xbox-exclusive project. The first teaser focused on super-detailed facial animations of the game’s cast, including Sophia Lillis (the new It films), Hunter Schafer (Euphoria), and legendary German actor Udo Kier. Whatever he’s cooking up will make use of Xbox’s cloud tech, although it also seems to be playing off the fan-favorite P.T. with a reoccurring opening door motif. The game’s tagline seems to be “For all players and screamers.” You can check out the teaser trailer, below.

Fallout premieres April 12 on Amazon Prime Video.

Microsoft Paint Cocreator, which allows users to create images with the help of generative AI, has finally been made available to the public. It is a Paint Cocreator feature that enables users to create images by giving text prompts to the AI model. The AI image generator feature is accessible to Windows 11 users. Microsoft's AI image generator is powered by OpenAI's DALL-E, enabling users to bring their visions to life with AI-generated images. Microsoft has been utilizing the capabilities of DALL-E for its various other services such as Bing Chatbot, and now, it has been added Microsoft Paint vis Windows 11. Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer says Microsoft is talking to partners about launching an Xbox mobile store, as first reported by Bloomberg. Spencer made the comment during an interview at the CCXP comics and entertainment convention in Brazil on Thursday.

Microsoft’s gaming division is seeking continued growth, and to do that, it is eyeing the mobile gaming market. As Bloomberg reports, Xbox is talking with partners to create a mobile gaming store.

During the 2023 Comic Con Experience (November 30 - December 3) in São Paulo, Brazil, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer spoke with Bloomberg's Rachel Gamarski to confirm the company's strategy to build an Xbox mobile store with the help of like-minded partners.
