From Software confirms it is "investigating" an Armored Core 6 PC save issue

Netflix has confirmed that the Onimusha anime series will be available to stream from November 2nd. It is one of a few a shows based on Capcom properties, with the likes of Dragon’s Dogma, and Resident Evil also getting show treatment on the streaming service. The teaser trailer shows us a glimpse of what to expect when Onimusha comes to Netflix.

During Nintendo’s recent direct we got a brand new trailer for the upcoming remake of their classic SNES title Super Mario RPG. With that we learned that there would be one giant major inclusion in the way of boss refights- something that was not at all available in the original as the SNES classic had no postgame whatsoever. While any other details on post-game content remain unknown, Famitsu’s recent screenshot upload shared more details than fans could have ever expected. From this wide variety of screenshots we’ve actually learned of three brand new inclusions to the upcoming remake, all of which will be quite fantastic inclusions for new and returning fans alike! It’s already well documented that the title is getting a major face lift and that shows very clearly as well in these screenshots, but for the time being we’ll focus strictly on the new features available to players.

Let the Bloodborne 2 speculation begin.

FromSoftware is still struggling to lock its games to 60 frames-per-second, it seems. The Japanese developer has a history of not quite reaching its technical targets, with beloved games like Bloodborne and even the much more recent Elden Ring exhibiting performance flaws — particularly on consoles. And it's the same old story with Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, according to the new analysis from Digital Foundry.

FromSoftware is investigating an issue that may affect saves in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon's PC version. FromSoftware is for now recommending that you be sure to shut down your game before you put your PC to sleep. I'll guess that also means you should just shut down the game when you're not playing it, period.

Developer FromSoftware has announced that it is aware of an issue with the PC release of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon where some players are facing problems with their save data. The studio has stated that it is currently in the process of investigating the issue.

The thing about gaming history is that you often don’t know what’s really happening behind the scenes unless it’s being told to you after the fact. For example, if a company is struggling, you don’t know about it until it is shuttered or bought out by a bigger publisher. And when a company is riding high, you’ll hear about it because of all the projects they’re putting out thanks to the capital they now have. Atlus is an excellent example of that, as they’re booming and getting ready to release games like Persona 3 Reload. But it wasn’t always that way.
