Forza Motorsport – Update 7 is Live, Adds Brands Hatch and Reduces Installation Size

After careful consideration over the last year, we at Blizzard have made the decision not to hold BlizzCon in 2024. This decision was not made lightly as BlizzCon remains a very special event for all of us, and we know many of you look forward to it. While we’re approaching this year differently and as we have explored different event formats in the past, rest assured that we are just as excited as ever to bring BlizzCon back in future years.

Gran Turismo 7 has been freshly updated to version number 1.46 on PS5 and PS4, with the update adding a new car to the game you won't find anywhere else: the Škoda Vision Gran Turismo. Designed entirely around the Polyphony Digital racer, it's Škoda's first appearance in the franchise and is seen as a «visionary study of a single-seater, all-electric racing concept car».

Blizzard has announced that the next Diablo 4 Developer Update Stream will be on May 2 at 11 a.m. PDT and will discuss the Season 4 launch, PTR learnings, and more.

Behaviour Interactive has released a brand-new update for the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight that actually reduces the overall file size for the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions. As a live service game, Dead by Daylight is supported with frequent updates. The more exciting updates add brand-new Killers and Survivors to the mix, but there are equally important updates that address balance issues, fix bugs, and more.

Recently Larian Studios made the surprise announcement that Baldur’s Gate 3 would not be getting any major story-driven DLC, as they’re moving on to a pair of original projects, but that doesn’t necessarily mean updates are ending. In fact, in a new blog post Larian has provided some fresh details about what players can expect from Baldur’s Gate 3 Update 7, which is currently in the works.

Earlier this year, Microsoft announced that certain first-party Xbox titles would be going multiplatform, including Obsidian’s charming “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” style co-op survival game Grounded. Well, today Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition officially hits PS4, PS5, and Switch. That said, there’s no reason for you Xbox owners to feel left out – the Fully Yoked edition comes with a number of new features, which you’ll be getting right alongside folks on the new platforms. These features include New Game+, queen ants, extra goodies to collect, and more. Sadly, this will be the last major update for Grounded, but it sounds like a meaty one at least. Bethesda is preparing to roll out a significant update for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S versions of. Last-gen players will also benefit from improved stability and a variety of fixes. The game also has two new free creations, adding a variety of new weapons, clothing, and settlement items.

A «major» Palworld update is scheduled for this summer, though it won't have the previously-promised PvP Arena. Palworld recently made an appearance at the Triple-I Initiative showcase, a special event dedicated to revealing new information about upcoming indie games.

Revealed during yesterday's Triple-i Initiative, procedurally generated detective sim Shadows Of Doubt largest update yet is playable right now. Dubbed "The Sharpshooter Assassin", the the patch introduces two new killer variants, both snipers who'll blast lead from vantage points around the city. And the city's expanding too, with new uber-rich gated communities as well as a contrasting shanty town. Not to mention a new auto-travel feature that lets you wander about these spots and attend to some casework without pausing the game.

Developer Turn 10 Studios has releasedForza Motorsport update 7.0, a substantial patch brimming with interesting additions, balance tweaks, and crucial bug fixes. This Forza Motorsport update also introduces a plethora of content across various aspects of the game, catering to both seasoned veterans and newcomers alike.

Today’s AAA games require a lot of storage, and typically, they only get bigger post-launch as addition content and updates are applied. So, it’s somewhat surprising to report that Forza Motorsport – which launched at a very-meaty 130-GB-plus -- is actually shrinking in size with its latest patch. Forza Motorsport Update 7 will see the game’s file size reduced by around 25 GB on Xbox Series X and 29 GB on PC.
