Fortnite: Where to Find Jetpacks | Season OG

The grind is on as Lego Fortnite rolls into view and throws a back of assorted bricks at your feet. Combining the colourful world of Fortnite with the boundless creativity of Lego is a work of genius, and even in its most basic form, is a lot of fun. If you want a new crafting/survival game, then this isn’t a bad place to start.

Lego Fortnite is exactly what the name implies – it’s the wonderfully buildable (and aesthetically pleasing) world of Lego in all of its bricky glory, combined with Fortnite. Only, it’s not really combined with Fortnite, it’s just within Fortnite and uses its established STUFF to make a pretty swanky survival/crafting/building experience. 

The Brite Bomber is a helpful guide when you first arrive in LEGO Fortnite, giving you small tips and tricks to make your journey easier as you begin your initial steps in this LEGO world. However, Brite Bomber does disappear at some point, and her location is a mystery.

At the top of the month, developer Epic Games launched Chapter 5 of Fortnite's popular Battle Royale mode. But with the start of this new chapter, the team also launched three new experiences within the Fortnite launcher. The first was Lego Fortnite, a survival Minecraft-like game, and soon after, the second, Rocket Racing, a new racing mode created by Rocket League developers Psyonix, went live. The third and final new experience of Chapter 5 (so far, at least) went live over the weekend – it's called Fortnite Festival and is basically Rock Band-lite but in the universe of Fortnite. 

Iron is one of the more difficult resources for you to find while playing LEGO Fortnite. You’ll spend a good amount of time trying to track it down, but it should be in a reasonably reliable place, giving you the chance to unlock Iron Bars.

You will find several creatures while exploring LEGO Fortnite, and these enemies have the chance to drop helpful resources that you can use back at your village. The Blaster is one of these monsters that you can find, and it has a good chance to drop Blast Cores from it.

Obsidian is one of the more challenging resources that you need to hunt down while playing LEGO Fortnite. You will need to explore a specific location if you want to track it down, and you will need to bring upgraded gear to harvest it.

There are dozens of resources that players will need to seek out and craft with during their time in LEGO Fortnite. Many are essential to upgrading villages and unlocking powerful abilities, but some, such as Copper and Copper Bars, are notoriously difficult to track down.

To get Marble Slabs in LEGO , players need the right tools for the job. Crafting Marble Slabs requires Marble, an essential ingredient for crafting advanced tools and building stone structures, but it is harder to obtain than basic Granite. Although Marble isn’t hard to find if you know where to look, you’ll need upgraded tools to mine it.

There are multiple creatures you can find while exploring LEGO Fortnite, each with distinct resources and helpful materials you can bring back to your base. A creature you’ll want to find early on is called the Roller, and its shell is exceptionally helpful.

Fortnite's Season OG went down a treat, but, with Chapter 5 already upon us, this walk down memory lane has come to a close. However, it looks like developer Epic Games doesn't want to close the door on Season OG forever.
